Good morning. Wow, yesterday I cleaned out a little more than 300 spams from my blog comments, and just now I had to clean out 939 more spams. Is anyone else having this problem with Google and Blogger?
It makes me wonder if Google and Blogger are doing anything to help keep our blogs safe from all this unwanted spam. It also makes me wonder just how safe it must be to use Google for searches, etc.
The sun is shining, and it's another gorgeous day here in my little part of New England. Friday night, I just could not get to sleep at all, and finally I got up around 4 a.m. to do a few small chores. Finally, around 7 a.m., I crawled back under the covers and got about an hour an a half of sleep before it was time to get dressed and go pick up Kevin.
We had planned to clean out the pantry, but decided instead to go through lots of piles of magazines, etc, for personal information and then followed that up by filling another large bag of shred. Wow, it makes a big difference when a lot of the piles are gone.
I should explain. I read the miscellaneous mail and magazines, etc, and set it aside in a pile until I decide to do something with it. When the pile gets too big, I move it over and start another pile. Well, that's sort of how it goes. Next thing you know, it is overwhelming and the best thing to do is to toss it all out. But first, all names, addresses, etc must be removed and shredded.
This week, Kevin will be back and put my new exercise machine together. It seems that everything you buy nowadays has to be assembled before you can use it. After that, we 'll think about getting back to re-organizing the pantry.
Friday, I forgot to post the Photoshop Friday challenge. The Queen Jester gave us this photo of an adorable, but crying, toddler to play with. (At least, I think he was crying)
After much thought, I finally decided how to fit him into an image. The kid is crying because he is scared. In this image, the cloaked figure is carrying th toddler to the haunted house while all sorts of ghosties dance about on the moonlit lawn. I found all images and the background on Google.
Take a moment and stop by the Queen Jester's blog to see the other fabulously creative images that were made using the toddler photo. Next week's challenge image is also posted, so feel free to join in the fun.
Remember the Super Moon on July 12th? Well there will be two more Super Moons this year. The second one will be tonight, and the third one will be on September 9th. If you thought the last one was great, tonight's is supposed to be the best of all three of them. So go out tonight at moonrise, at 7:55 p.m. when there should be less cloud cover. (Info comes from our local newspaper)
Pogo and I are hoping to go to the ocean, possibly in Scituate, and hopefully have a spectacular view of this Super Moon. The piece I ordered for my tripod has not come in yet, so I'll do my best at hand held photos.
The new yellow crochet project that I've been working on has been set aside for a few days while I'm I 'm waiting for a new order of yarn. I was not completely happy with the colors that I was planning on using, so I ordered a couple more new colors. In the meantime, I'm working on the lavender afghan.
Now it's time to wash the breakfast dishes. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

I can't wait to see the pictures of the Super Moon.
That poor little guy being carried off.
I hope you get some rest. I am dealing with the same thing night after night It may be the time to see the doctor for me.
Just love the layout you've made for the challenge! Great!
A lot of things we buy nowadays you first have to put together yourself before you can use it. Of course it is practical to transport them, but I hate it, to have something new and then first have to figure out how to put it together LOL.
Must say the last few days I slept rather well, perhaps because the nights are a bit cooler?
Going to try to post on my blog, we'll see what to do later today/
Have a great day with Pogo at the coast/
Hug
Kyra
