Good morning. It's only 5 a.m., and it's already daylight. I love this part of where the daylight starts earlier and lasts longer. I could dig it year round. I'm at work now, sniffly nose and all. And what to my surprise, the internet was back! So last night, I was able to upload all of the June collab kit.
This month's kit is quite whimsical. We call it "Mouse Love." A few years ago, I found an adorable picture, on the web somewhere, of what I like to call mouse love, and I saved it and used it in the logo. I don't know who painted it, so if you do please let me know. Here is my preview of Parts 1 & 2, QP's.
Here is your download link for Parts 1 & 2. EXPIRED
Next, you want to visit Su's blog to pick up her first two parts. Don't forget to take a moment to say thank you. Here is her preview.
Last night, the Mrs. called me because there was a racket coming from the patio outside the living room door. I assured her that it was probably just a squirrel trying to get at the bird feeder. I then put the outside patio light on, and my oh my what a surprise! There was a small raccoon (not too small) trying to get at the birdseed in the feeder.
The Mrs' son had replaced the old feeder with a newer one that discourages squirrels. But it just makes the animals work a lot harder to get at the food. As soon as they figure out how to shake the seed out onto the patio, they are all set. I tried to get photos of the raccon, but it's not that easy in the dark shooting through a storm door window. These are the best shots that I could get, as the flash kept bouncing off the glass.
At the moment, I'm drinking a cup of herbal mint tea. I did not bring any honey with me, so I don't really think the tea is doing my cold much good. During the night, I've used half a large box of tissues, and almost a bag of cough drops. If I never see another cough drop for a while, that will be okay. And if my nose wasn't so stuffy, I probably wouldn't be such a whiney baby. I hope Tootsie and I can get outside for a bit today. I feel bad keeping her cooped up in bed with me these past two days. She is such a love and never complains. I know, I do enough for the two of us!!
Now, before my battery is completely dead, I think I will try reading a bit until the Mrs. wakes up. I really must remember to put the AC plug in my bag then I wouldn't have to worry about the battery running down. Enjoy our new collab kit. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Neat Raccoon pics, Edna!
I hope your cold goes away fast! Traditional Medicinals makes an herbal tea called Gypsy Cold Care that I like when I have a cold. It doesn’t cure the cold, but it eases it a lot! Feel better!
Hogs, Nani
Cute mouse pictures and very impressive raccoon photos. Hope you're feeling better soon.
