Trying To Get Back In My Creative Groove

April 13, 2017

Good afternoon.  Today is much cooler, but the sun keeps coming out so it's still quite a nice day.  The forecast calls for several cool days, a very warm Easter Sunday, and then more cool days.

This morning, Joe vacuumed my porch, and got up all the Winter dust and dirt.  Now Pogo has the whole porch to play on.  We'll  have to think of something nice to do for Joe.  He's always doing things to help us.

A couple nights ago I finished the Key Lime hat and scarf set.  It's actually quite pretty.  Now I'm working on a Lemon Yellow set.  Here's a photo of the set I just finished.

Last evening, DIL Janet shared some of her hamburg with Pogo.  She sprinkled it on his doggie food, and he ate everything on his plate.  Afterwards, he climbed up on his chair and had a really nice nap.  Now I ask you, doesn't this look like a very happy little camper???  He's probably dreaming about all that tasty hamburg and wondering how he can get some more.

Today I'm a little off my game.  Each day I feel a bit better, but some days I'm just a bit woozy so I don't do very much.  Today is one of those days.  Tomorrow will be better.

Yesterday was a good day for me and I even played a bit on my laptop.  Here's a new quick page for you.  I hope you can use it to show off photos of your fur babies.

Here is your download link:

Now I think I'll try to have me a little nap.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a really nice day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna and Prince Pogo,

I just loved the QP, thank you. It will be perfect for our fur babies. I hope that your doing well. It is a beautiful day here.
I had a doctors appointment yesterday and I was gone all day. When I did get home I made a quick meal and laid down.
Your hat and scarf is just gorgeous. I truly love that color. It is so bright and cheerful. Those kids are going to just love them.
Cisco sends greetings to you and Pogo. Lots of happy kisses, sniffs and tail wags headed your way. I will be in touch soon. I am playing catch up around here... Hugs xxx Beth

Hi Edna, I hope you continue to feel better each and every day. Having this antiquated VP shunt from 32 years ago I often get wobbly or woozy with my allergies. Sinus and such has been miserable because so much has bloomed already! Get well my friend.
I love that picture of Pogo. Oh he is a delight for you. So stubborn and strong willed for such a tiny fellow but such a joy to have around. He looks so soft and sweet I could hug him all day long and he would probably say NOOOOOOOOOOOOO if he could speak! Such a cutie.
I was thinking back to you working for the "Mrs." A friend of mine is caring for her elderly aunt and she was in an assisted living center. It was far from my friends home and they are older then me and still working, and working so very hard. They were able to find a facility close to their home and the auntie was afraid of being alone last night, her first night there. They stayed as late as was allowed and she was happier and felt she would be able to rest. I tell my friend ,Bette Davis was right "Old age ain't for sissies". Her auntie is 88 and today she was organizing her things. Her phamily will help her decorate her room too with personal things and I think that makes a difference. Life can be tough so we make the very best of it and we pray.
It is always good to see you my friend. Take care. HUGS

There's nothing like a good burger and a nap to make my day as well.

You have a dear little dog and he looks loved and very well cared for. I have a very spoiled but very loveable/lovable ->sp? Maine Coon cat. I think with sunnier days and better weather we'll all start feeling better. Thanks for you great freebies too!
