New Products

September 2, 2022

Good afternoon.  I'm blogging a wee bit late today.  I've been watching TV and it's been fun.  They're showing a lot of old "Golden Girls" programs, and I'm enjoying them.

I've been enjoying a few of the newer TV commercials.  Especially the one for LUME.  I'm wondering who did the crotch sniffing, and how did they advertise for the job?  Wanted:  crotch sniffer.  Just who do you suppose would answer this ad?

Then there's the product that helps women poop.  The woman in the ad is sitting on a toilet and says "I'm a woman pooping."  Well, dang it all!  Now I know why she was sitting there.  I can't wait to see the ad that will help men.

I've decided to do a bit of crocheting this afternoon.  If I don't get started with it, I won't have the afghans for Christmas.  Actually, I haven't done much at all for Christmas so far.  I need to think about it and get to it.  I don't like to wait till the last minute.

I also need to start thinking about my Christmas cards.  Am I going to send them this year?  I don't know but if I do, I need to get busy with them now.

There's a new pillow on TV that looks super comfortable.  Have a look.  I think we should all have this pillow.  Then we'd all get a super night's sleep.

Now I'm going to head for the kitchen to see what's for lunch.  Y'all stay safe now.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Ms. Edna, lovely to see you are posting.
I for one despise both of those commercials, especially the woman pooping one, it is an insult to the watchers intelligence and would turn me off buying the products.
Love that pillow, looks so comfortable.
Enjoy your shows, and whatever yumminess to eat :)
Hugs,

Hi Edna, I have to say, some of the things they advertise on tv are unbelievable aren't they? Hopefully people won't buy the products and the tv commercials will disappear. It's starting to get a bit chilly in the weather department isn't it? We're in mostly 60s starting last Thursday and continuing this week. I hope we don't have an early start to winter weather:) Enjoy your week!

Glad to see you are posting! some tv commercials are strange and I wonder how did they get to them? Lucky that there also appear from time to time funny and good ones.(but most are horrible, LOL)
I should check my Christmas departement in the wardrobe to see if I already have all and then it soon is time to wrap and send away.
If writing a lot of Christmascards is too much for you, just don;t, or just the few you really want to send, perhaps you can send some wishes by mail?
Weather here isn;t too great at the moment, today it is raining off and on and just around 12-13C.
Stay safe and have a good week!
Big hug,
Kyra

I think I toss and turn WAY too much for that pillow! (Of course, if I had the pillow, maybe I wouldn't toss and turn?)

Whenever I see a moderately racy or foul commercial (like the woman on the toilet) I think of my mom, who would always say, "Boy, my grandmother should see THIS!" People from a few generations ago would be shocked by modern advertising.

I can't believe some of the commercials that they show on tv today. What happened to the little jingles like they use to do for Wrigley's chewing gum? or the one for a bottle of ketchup with just waiting for the upside down bottle to finally drop a dollup of ketchup on that heaping burger or fries and the background song of "Anticipation" Is making me wait!"
Now those are real commercials!

Take care Miss Edna, xxx

Oh the LUME part made me laugh. We say that when the commercial comes on, SMH:) I haven't seen the pooping one. That pillow looks like something I would like. I sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs. That just might work for me. Enjoy your evening dear friend, HUGS!

Oh the pillow looks heavenly. Yes, a great night of peaceful sleep zzzzzzz..... I am creeped out by the Lume kooky doctor cocoa puffs! Avery will get a kick out of your response here. hahahaha...... we have cooler temps so it is a nice relief from the heat. I hope it lasts through this month any way. PRAYING it does! Take care sweet lady.

According to a blog posted on November 19, 2022 by "With A Russian Heart:" "I wanted to tell you that I've been able (with help from a blogfriend) to get in touch with Edna at last. She had some health issues and seems she was feeling a bit low and without too much energy. But she told me she was okay and that sooner or later she would make a little blogpost. Just checking in once again, Edna, to let you know you and your well being are in the thoughts of your fellow bloggers. Sadly, I just read Kyra’s post that her husband, Jan, passed away very suddenly and I know she was a good blogger friend of yours.

I have been out of touch for a while with so much going on in my life and I was lost because of my illness but I'm stronger and I am here to tell you about a natural remedy that is guaranteed to make you wonder why your doctor didn't tell you about it. Then, on the other hand, it is pretty obvious why your doctor didn't, because that's not his job, is it? But, seriously, promise me you won't get too angry with your health practitioner, it's really not their fault. They can only practice what they're told to practice, right? When your health is at risk there's no time for Tom foolery, you've got to get down to the cause and nip it in the bud. So you've been suffering from painful gout attacks have you? Well, allow me to give you a new perspective on the solution to what plagues you I was once in your shoe until my college friend introduce me to Dr Itua herbal center which cure my hiv/herpes,Lymphedema, after drinking it for two weeks as instructed, Dr Itua is an africa herbal doctor who has natural power to cure all human illness diseases I believe Dr Itua so much because he help me cure my hiv/ herpes which has being my burden in life so I promised Dr Itua that I will testify about his work online after curing me and that is what I'm doing here so please if you are sick from those diseases do not hesitate to write Dr Itua Herbal Center On Email: drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com Or chat with him on his online store www.drituaherbalcenter.com

Hi again, Edna, I had read on another bloggers post (Kyra's) that you had some health issues and I hope that you are doing better and will be able to celebrate and enjoy Christmas with your family. I stopped by to wish you and your family a very happy holiday, wherever and however you will be celebrating this special time of year.

I am sorry that we have not been able to connect these past many months despite my snail mail (your voice mailbox was full so I couldn't wish you well with a personal message).

Just a heads up that I will be doing some blog clearing from my sidebar by year end as many other bloggers have also stopped posting for various reasons. Should you decide to resume posting sometime in the New year, please let me know and wishing you a very Happy and a healthier 2023.
