Good morning. Tis a bit on the cool side this morning. It went down into the forties during the night. It was great for sleeping but a bit chilly for getting up this morning. Today's post will be a short one because Deanne and I are going to the shooting range this morning. I'm hoping that my shoulder is up to it.
Today is the first day of September. Here's the September page from my calendar.
I should also give you Maxine's September page. She has a point here!
Nothing special happening around here lately. Yesterday I finished another dolly dress, this one in a yarn called "Rose Garden." Then I started working on a new scarf and hat set. Exciting, yes? I also started checking my box supply. It's time to make a list of the box sizes that I'll be needing for my holiday mailings.
I think Pogo is falling out of love with his doggie food. This morning he only took one little bite and walked away. Hmmm, I guess I'll have to cook him a hamburger tonight for supper. Ah well, he's been good so I guess he deserves it.
My friend Beth has had another eye surgery and is not feeling so good. Beth, I hope you start feeling better soon. Use your eye patch and try not to use your good eye too much. Let Cisco lavish you with doggie kisses and hugs. That will help to speed up the healing.
Before I leave I want to share this beautiful photo that my SIL Mac took on his way out to work one morning. Such a beautiful sunrise! Thanks, Mac, for sharing.
Well, now it's time for me to start getting ready for my morning appointment. This is Labor Day weekend here so lots of folks will be celebrating with family and friends. Don't forget to pray for the folks in Texas and the surrounding states who are dealing with loss and more because of the devastating storms.
Till Sunday, be safe and have an awesome weekend.
Hugs, Edna B.
