Congratulations, Janicee!

June 4, 2017

Good morning.  The sun is shining and it's looking to be a beautiful day.  Well, yesterday was Janicee's day to shine.  She graduated from Brockton High School.  You worked hard for this Janicee. Congratulations!  We all love you, and we're very proud of you.

As you can see, this was a family event.  The last photo shows the Juniors who served as usherettes for seating all the graduating seniors.  The arrow points to Jazzy.  The top photo shows Kevin & Janicee.  Kevin works so hard not to smile!  Then of course, we have Eddie and Deanne with Janicee.  Am I a proud mama?  You bet your booties I am!!

Pogo and I had a rather quiet day yesterday.  I did some laundry (three loads) and took a nap.  That pretty much took care of the whole afternoon.  Other than that, I crocheted a bit on the Red, White and Blue afghan.  Today, I think I'll spend some time out on the porch.  We're supposed to get rain tomorrow and Tuesday, so today is a good day to be outside.

I do have a new quick page for you.  This one might be good for some of your beach photos.  Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, we just discovered a Robin's nest tucked onto the window sill on the shed.  Joe peeked in, and there are four eggs!  What a lovely surprise!   I'll try to get a photo later.

Well, now I think I'll wash the breakfast dishes and see what sort of mischief Pogo and I can get into today.  So till tomorrow, Y'all have an awesome day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,
Wonderful photos and Janice looks so happy and I know she has worked really hard to get to this point. So happy for her and all of the kids. It makes you smile to see how hard that they work and now look at their lives ahead of them. Next it will be Jazzy that will be graduating. Makes you wonder where the time goes.

Friday is Karyn's Birthday. I got everything for her bracelet today at Walmart. We went to the GOOD one... Then stopped for a ice cream cone at Dairy Queen. It has been over a year since I have had a ice cream cone. I felt like a kid again.

I also bought Cisco a new rope to play tug of war with. I found the cutest little hedgehog that I almost bought him but he really loved playing with the rope that you bought him so I got him one as we had to throw the other one away because there was nothing left of it haha.
I laid down to read and Cisco sat on the floor looking up at me and would bark a little yip trying to get my attention. I asked him several times what it was that he wanted and he would paw the bed and yelp/bark and so I got up put him up with me thinking he wanted to be with me, but no that was not what he wanted. He ran over to the other side of the bed, dug under the pillow, grabbed baby, got down and went to his bed!!! So now he has Chicki, Baby and the rope in his bed with him and a tennis ball on the floor beside his bed.

Thank you for the QP. I am going to download it now.. Hugs to you and kisses and cuddles to Pogo... xxx Beth

Good to see how happy she looks.
Oh, and what a lovely surprise, that ronin nest! I hope there will be little robins soon and that you will be able to follow up a little.
Have a happy day!
