Ghosties In My Laptop

Today is starting out a bit on the chilly side, but like yesterday, it most likely turn into a beautiful sunny day. I guess this is why Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. The temperatures are almost always great, not too warm and definitely not too cold.

Today I have my doctor appointment, and on the way home I might just stop at a store to do a bit of shopping. There are lots of toys on sale now that Easter has gone by, and I can pick one up to put away for Tootsie for Christmas.

Don't laugh!! I already have some things put away for Christmas! I know, I know. Christmas was just a short while ago. But take a look at the calendar, and you'll notice how quickly the months have flown by already. While I'm shopping, and you laugh, several more months will go by.

As for posting the daily downloads here, there was a bit of a mix up with them at the forum. Several of them were missing, and so they were put up a bit out of order. Now, though, all the parts have been uploaded, and they will get back on track soon. Before I post another one, I first want to check with Snowy to see which one she is posting. So be patient please.

Wow, I just touched something on my keyboard, and my whole page disappeared. I just came back in to finish my post. Weird!! This has happened before, and it drives me crazy. It's sort of like there is a little computer ghost playing games with me. Definitely not funny!!

Before this little ghostie starts acting up again, I shall post your freebie and go on my way. Today's QP is more for a man or an outdoorsy type of person. Mmmm, My Flowers Smell Fantastic!!

It's a bit gray today, and a speck cooler, but it's still nice. The temperature is supposed to reach about 69 degrees, so I can dig that!! The bumble bees like it too. I've been watching one outside my window, just flying around and checking things out.

Inside my living room, there is a sweet aroma of Easter lily and pink Hyacinth blooms. Oh my, they smell soooooooooo good!!! And they are so pretty to look at too!! Wow, I just got up and looked outside, and it's RAINING!!! Just lightly, but wet!

Our forum at Magickal Scraps is going to be shut down sometime this month for an overhaul. We're not sure of the date for this, so Snowy, Kyra and I will be posting the daily downloads on our blogs so that you don't miss out on any of the days. At the moment, I will be posting the DD's only on weekdays (Monday through Friday).

Last night, Wayne came by and got my internet connection working again on my laptop. Yeah! It's much more comfortable for me to be able to sit on my sofa and use my laptop. Lately, my foot has been hurting quite a bit, and yesterday it was swollen. I soaked it, and kept it up most of the afternoon. My doctor has moved my appointment up to tomorrow to re-check it.

I think I will use this afternoon to work on some new QP's for you. My supply is almost depleted. I also think I shall have to put on some warmer clothes. It's a bit cool in my living room. Yesterday, we shut the heat off. Today, we have just turned it back on. I know, I'm spoiled. I like the temperature in my house comfortable. But at my age, I think it's okay to be a bit spoiled.

Did any of you watch the Red Sox game Sunday night? How about those Red Sox? Are they great! Or are they great!! What a game, and what a great team to beat! Yup, they beat the Yankees 9-7, a really great way to start the season. Go Red Sox!!!

Grandpa Is A Happy Camper Today!!

We are enjoying another spectacular day here in sunny New England. After all the rain and flooding, we soooooooo appreciate the warm sunshine. Yesterday, Mr. Bunny was very good to us, and Moo cooked a fantastic boiled dinner. We were all stuffed and happy.

Today I am getting a late start, so this will be a rather short post. My foot is very achy, and does not want to fit into any sort of shoe. The nicer part of the day is a visit from Gary Jr's daughter Shanna and her son Niko. This certainly put a nice smile on Gary Jr's face!!! Here are some photos that I just took.

HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter everybody. This morning, though a bit chilly, is starting out just beautifully. the sun is shining and there are birds chirping and flowers blooming. The weatherman says it will be nice and warm today, about 75 degrees. I can dig that!!!

Last night at work, I had no internet connection on my laptop. This morning at home I still have no internet connection on my laptop. Is Murphy's Law playing jokes on me? Or is my laptop going to be my next bit of bad news? A friend sent me this picture, and I guess it reflects me this morning!!

I just think it would be so nice if a few days could pass with no problems at all. sigh...sigh.... Ah well, a girl can dream!!

Needless to say, I did not spend very much time on my laptop last night. Thank goodness I had already made up another Easter QP for you ahead of time. I did, however, manage to finish up all my baskets.

When I got home from work this morning, Mr. Bunny was tiptoeing into my house to leave treats and toys for Tootsie and baskets of goodies for the dwarfs and Moo and Gary Jr. I helped him set things out, and then Mr. Bunny enjoyed a carrot and a cup of hot chocolate. After that he left, saying that he still had a few more stops to make before he would be done.

Leave Some Goodies For Mr. Rabbit Tonight!!

It's a gloriously beautiful and sunshiny morning here in my little part of New England. The only bad part is that I'm missing all my little bird visitors at the feeder. With all the rain, it has not been possible to keep the birdfood in the feeder clean. So this morning we will clean out the feeder and fill it again with new seed. Seeing the birds outside my window will make the morning perfect.

Today, I really must have my nails done too. They are getting too long, and it makes it very hard for me to type. I keep hitting a lot of extra letters in all my words, and then I have to keep re-typing them. Once my nails have been groomed, I'm not sure what I can blame for all my extra typing letters. I'll have to think about that for a bit. (Maybe I type too fast?) LOL

Yesterday I went shopping to get myself a new microwave. Daughter in law, Janet, took me. We had a grand time shopping, and came home with lots of bundles. And no microwave. I guess we were having too much fun and simply forgot about it until we got home. So last night, Moo went shopping and brought me home a new microwave. And yes, it works just fine. Thank you Moo.

Last night I did Mr. Bunny a favor and boiled up dozens of eggs. I even promised to decorate them for him. After all, Mr. Bunny has a really big night tonight, traveling around to deliver all those beautiful baskets to kiddies everywhere. Some big kiddies too!! Even dwarfs have been known to get excited upon finding Easter goodies left for them.

Today I have a couple more photos to share. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, we saw this magnificent chicken!! It was just gorgeous, but very camera shy. It stayed under cover of tall grasses so I had a difficult time trying to get decent photos of it. It also was grooming itself most of the time. Here are two of my best ones. I don't know what kind of chicken this is, but I do know that it is simply beautiful.

Well, that's all for today. It's time to make some lunch for Tootsie. You know, she's seven years old now (as of March 15th). I still remember the vet telling me four years ago that I should be kind to her and save myself a lot of money, and have her put to sleep. My gosh!! Look at all the happiness and joy that she and I (and everyone else here) would have missed out on!! Y'all have a fantabulous day now.

Happy National Frog Day

Did you already know that? That today is National Frog Day? I didn't until I opened my email. I wonder how one celebrates this particular holiday? Do we just put out some food and drink for them? If so, what kind of food? I suppose it would be easiest to just ask any little boy. He would certainly know what a frog would like for a treat. Well, anyway, enjoy the holiday.

I'm on my way out to buy a new microwave. Murphy's Law struck here again a couple of nights ago. I went to warm something up in my microwave, and yup! You got it!! It was deader than a door knob. I'm almost afraid to say "What's next?"

I need to find something to use for little baskets. I like to use re-usable things like a pretty bowl or maybe a hat. I think I need to pick up a couple of extra little goodies for the baskets too. These things have to be done up a bit early because I have to work Saturday night. Gosh! A bunny's job is never done!!

My ride will be here in a few minutes, so I must get ready to leave. I do have a new Easter freebie for you. I hope you can use it. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!

Did you manage to fool someone today? So far, I haven't had a chance to pull any pranks on anyone. For some reason, I'm just not quick enough for that. But the day isn't over yet. Ha ha!!

Well, I had two big things to do today, and I've just finished one of them. I wanted to have my will written and get a lot of personal things in order. That's been started. Now for the next biggie. I have an appointment in a little while to have my taxes done. Say a little prayer that it goes smoothly. I so hate doing the taxes!!

I also managed to do a couple loads of washing this morning, and washed a bunch of money while I was at it. I check all my pockets before throwing things into the washer, but somehow I always manage to find the laundered money when I take the clothes out of the dryer. Well, at least I can always say that my money is clean!!

Now I have to get ready to leave for my appointment.

I'm back now, and I guess I did okay with gathering up all my tax materials, because it wasn't so bad. Now it's time to start cooking our supper.
