It's Such Fun To Come Home!

October 22, 2012

Tis another beautiful day here in my little part of the world.  The sun is shining and it's not too cool.  Later, after I've had my nap, Pogo and I will go out for a while and do a couple of errands.  We want to enjoy this nice weather while we have it.

Boy oh boy, when I got home this morning, Pogo was so excited!  He came  running to me and jumped up so fast I almost lost my footing.  He curled in under my chin and gave a big sigh.  My little guy sure does know how to make you feel loved!

Today I want to work on the article for the animal shelter.  I've already set aside a batch of photos to sprinkle through it.  Now I just have to work on the writing.  I also want to get a couple more pictures framed so that I can get them hung in the den (in the main part of the house).  I've had some of them ready  to be hung for so long but just never got around to finishing the project.  Today seems like a good day for the job.

Also for today, I have the last two parts of our collab kit "Goth n Gore" for you.  I surely hope you're enjoying this fun kit.  Here's my preview and your download links.

When you are finished downloading, hop on over to Su's website and pick up her two parts.  You also want to check on her previous posting because I do believe she added something else for you.  Here is Su's preview.

I also have another pretty flower for the Mandarin Orange Monday post.   Although it's another rose, I shot the photo from a different angle which is quite interesting.  I took this photo a few days ago while it was raining.  I love the look of raindrops on the flowers.

Now it's time to play with Pogo.  He's been curled up next to me waiting patiently for me to finish this post.  Gosh, he is just the best little doggie.  I'm off now.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Edna, this is beautiful. I love the pink/orange contrast and the rose with the water droplets ... amazing.

So you have a Birthday coming up ... are you telling? With Pogo around it seems like every day is a BD ... he is so loving and you are so blessed to have him (and he you). I hope your Birthday is as wonderful as you deserve.

I have been trying to get a star burst on my camera for several weeks. I used to be able to do it but it hasn't been working for me lately. I will try the white balance on my camera ... any other suggestions? I usually don't mess with my white balance because the one time I did, all of my pictures came out blue ... hmmmm. Oh well, never know until you try:) Hope you have another wonderful day Edna ...

And why not enjoy a day of nice weather as long as there is one. It could be over with so quickly.

I enjoy visiting and hearing about your Pogo and your day. I hope you did get something done on the animal shelter project:)
Your pink rose is lovely, especially with those drops of water. The soft orange textured background sets it off beautifully. Lovely image and thank you again, Edna, for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)

I like your scary pics too!!
