I love it!

I'm glad you were able to get some pictures of the decorations outside people's homes. I seem to be in such a hurry ... scurrying here and there, that, though I notice them, I don't have time to take pictures of them. Maybe in the next day or two I will be able to take time out.

I hear you when you say you would rather be home. When I was nursing I always worked the holidays because my kids were grown and there were nurses with kids at the age where having Mom homne was important. New Years Eve was another one I worked. My Hubby and I stopped going out for New Years Eve years ago. We found the roads to be unsafe ... full of thoughtless, inebriated drivers and decided we like the safety and peace and quiet of our own home. We always watch the Ball come down in New York :)

I went to my friends Christmas party last night. It was really very nice. No sit down dinner ... strictly finger foods ... yummy ones, and a lot of home made goodies. I kept busy cleaning up for her while she had the chance to visit with everyone. I had to leave early and I didn't want to leave her there all alone with all of those dirty dishes. I am glad she will be with family Christmas day, because this ia a really hard Christmas for her.

I have a ton of "last minutes" to do today and a few more stocking gifts to wrap. Then I hope I will be able to sit down and relax this evening. I am taking Izzi in to her Chiroprator tomorrow morning. She is turning her right rear foot in so I think she must have pulled something in her pelvis or back jumping wildly in the snow. That's it for me today ... off and running again. I will be glad when the holidays are passed this year. They seem more hectic than usual ... hmmmm. Well you get some rest and have a nice day with your Pogo.

Andrea @ Form the SolAndrea @ From The Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00657271089899579261noreply@blogger.com
