That is the only way they feel they can leave a mark in this day and age! It is very sad indeed, the way the world is changing (not for the good)!
I need to step down from my soapbox too, before I get unwound on this subject! LOL!
Hope your Monday is a terrific one!
Hugs, MatMat's Merry Memoirshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03998771521635158004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1836896508271015450.post-48927378822094389552012-12-16T09:26:36.482-05:002012-12-16T09:26:36.482-05:00Lucky for us, Edna, he shot himself. I wonder if anyone knew he was so violent and could have stopped this. We really don't have very good mental health support in this country. Most of our homeless are people with mental health issues and no support system. Oh my ... let's change the subject.

I am off to lunch today with my best friend from the hospital where I used to work. She is an administrator now and working on her PHD. Oh, to be young again ... would I do things differently, yes and no. There are some regrets that I would like the chance to redo, but for the most part, I did the best I could and all is well for the moment.

Izzi got her message yesterday. She wasn't sure what to think ... I always play with her when she is lying down ... we kind of rough house and I grab her feet and she pretend bites. Well, she thought that the masseuse was playing with her and wanted to roll around and push with her paws and pretend bite ... it took some doing, but she finally got her rubbies and was much more relaxed when we left.

This week is package wrapping time. I am finished shopping thankfully, but I always find when I am wrapping that I may have forgotten something. I better get busy because time is running out.

You on the other hand, have it all under control ... smart lady that you are. I would love to live in your skin for just a week so I could get soooooo organized. You are amazing, all that you accomplish. I am glad that Su is coming home and doing better. I hope she well enough to enjoy her holidays home with family. I have said a little prayer for her. You talk of her bright smile ... does she live close to you and do you see each other? You may have mentioned it, but I didn't put it together.

Well, I must go do some last minute fix me ups to look pretty for my outing. Izzi is mournful because she can tell I am headed out. She will be glad when all of this holiday stuff is over and we can get back to her Frisbee, Frisbee life. You have a great day Edna ... see you tomorrow :)

Andrea @ From The Sol Andrea @ From The Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00657271089899579261noreply@blogger.com
