I know watermelon is a great fruit and I truly love it along with cantaloupe and all the berries. We are due for the big heat wave too, not looking forward to it. I just love all your photos. The blue birds and squirrel photo made me laugh out loud. Too cute! I try to do errands early too. Too many people as the day wears on and some stores I buy fresh produce at get big crowds. We are late to garden too. My friend in WV sent me beans to plant but with all the rain we had she told me to wait til next year, God willing. With all the flooding food prices will continue to skyrocket. I am nervous about it, we all have to eat. But it is what it is.
Getting ready to settle in for the night so the hubby brought me my sleepy mint tea. Watching Rockies baseball.
I love hearing about Pogo. I hope the two of you have a great week. I started cutting it up last night and was very sad! I stink at picking a good watermelon...the inside was light pink at best and the rind was at least 2 inches thick. The watermelon had no taste! SO very sad! Maybe I will pick better next time - any hints on picking a good one?!?!?! Anyone?Annsterwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01441074446170101547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1836896508271015450.post-30350753285574424502019-06-25T12:55:20.283-04:002019-06-25T12:55:20.283-04:00My garden didn't do well this year. It doesn't take long for the weeds to take over your garden spot. I 've been pulling weeds from mine and has to get it together by August because my fall planting time is mid September and I am having chemo again in August. I won't have the strength to pull weeds after chemo by planting time. My son will be doing the tillering. I got lots of tomatoes but they were very small in size.

I love all the critters you have visiting you. They are so cute and I know you and Pogo enjoy watching them. I like to see the Turkey photos when they visit you. I am next door to a nature park but I doesn't get a lot of critters coming by. maybe they are so busy in the park. Have a great day.Angelicastarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09910309522871851699noreply@blogger.com
