Great that the dwarfs were helful too and sweet of Deanne and Eddie to bring along some yummie gooedies!
Wonderful what you did with the sunflower photo. It looks beautiful in the pastels and the add-os make it complete!
You have a fantastic day.
Hug
Kyrasmiekeltjehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16375937338027468675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1836896508271015450.post-67838209282066934602013-11-29T13:24:41.760-05:002013-11-29T13:24:41.760-05:00It sure sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgivi...It sure sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Lots of good food, some cute and yummy treats (Love the little Turkey Popcorn balls) and good company. Like Pogo, Izzi faired well on Thanksgiving ... aside from the food that was slipped down to her from the table, she had a plate of giblets and gravy. I can't give her any dressing because it has onions in it ... not that she needed anything more anyway. We, too, had a nice meal with family. We always sit and watch a movie (which for some reason is always the men's choice). Last night it was the newest StarTrek movie. We have followed Star Trek since it began, though I assure you we are not Trekies. It was good, full of action and had us on the edge of our seat through the whole thing.

Today I am more comfortable (less full :) It is cold and today, for the first day, the lake is frozen. I can't remember it ever freezing this early, but it is and our little Mute Swan Cynets are fit to be tied. They have no idea how to deal with it. They have been sitting out there for hours, not knowing how to walk on the ice. The move short distances, but then sit back down. I don't know where Mom and Dad are ... they may have moved on. Hopefully they will figure out how to manage on the ice and how to find food. The area near the warm spring seems to be frozen as well which is where the geese and swans hang most of the winter. All I can do is sit and watch and hope that they do okay. The good news is that one of the juvenile eagles has been hanging around for the last two day. This morning he came and landed right in our tree while Izzi and I were out there. I could hear the big clunk when he landed ... they are magnificent birds. He flew away as soon as he noticed us, but what a site ... and, of course, my camera was in the house. I don't take it out with me when it is this cold ... Darn!

I forgot Photoshop Friday too. I sent mine to QJ as soon as I realized it. I went to her blog and she hadn't posted yet, so maybe we will be on time. I loved your alterations ... very cool, as usual.

I have to get some pictures trimmed, some pictures printed and some scrapbook pages put together today. Then my son is coming back tonight for leftovers ... yummmm. Hope you have a nice relaxing day ... or maybe we should both be out running laps to get rid of all of the layers we added yesterday. Oh well, it is a good thing we don't eat like that every day. You be well, Edna and Izzi and I will be back tomorrow ... Hugs to Pogo ...

Andrea @ From The SolAndrea @ From The Solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00657271089899579261noreply@blogger.com
