The Full Worm Moon

March 10, 2020

Good morning.  This is my second attempt at writing this post.  I was almost finished with it, and POOF!  All gone!  I must be hitting a key on this thing (just like on my big laptop) that erases everything.  I'd like to know which key it is so that I can rip it right off the keyboard!  Then I would fill in the empty space with Gorilla Glue so that it could never erase my posts again!

In case you are wondering why I usually only post two, maybe three, photos at a time, let me explain.  I have my blog printed  into hard cover books.  When I post more photos, I can't fit a whole four months into a book, and I don't want to make more than three books a year.

When I first started blogging, I fit a whole year into one book.  But then I got a bit wordy and started posting lots of photos.  Now I'm up to a book every four months.

Have any of you been outside photographing this gorgeous Full Worm Moon?  Audrey and I have been out the last two evenings.  Sunday night started out rather cloudy, but Audrey got this really pretty photo.  I love the softness of the colors and the clouds.

Last night, the sky was clear as a bell, and we both got some really nice shots.  This is one of my photos, plus a close up crop to show some of the detail on this beautiful moon.

Today I think we're going to go shopping.  I bought a new pair of capri pants the other day, but they don't fit.  So they shall be returned.  What a shame.  They are a pretty green color and would made a nice addition to my wardrobe.  I have two rather shabby pair of denim bermuda shorts that I have worn the daylights out of.  They were old quite a few years ago, and now they are doing their best to last a little while longer, but this may be the year that does them in.

Sigh...why do our favorite things have to wear out?  I remember some years ago, I had a favorite long sleeve lightweight plaid flannel shirt.  Gosh, I loved that shirt and I wore the dickens out of it.  As time went on, a little tear or hole would appear.  I would get out the big roll of duct tape and tape over the damaged spot on the inside of the shirt.  After two or three years of this, the whole inside of the shirt was duct tape!  Finally, my hubby insisted that I throw the shirt away.  I did so, but it really hurt!

Well, it's a little after seven o'clock and Pogo and Audrey are still sleeping.  I think I'll try to catch a few more winks.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I hate trying to find new clothes that fit right. I have my favorites too and wear the same thing over and over! Never tried to tape anything though! heehee! Hope you find something new that you like! It's a good time of year to shop for Spring and summer clothes.

The moon was very lovely and unfortunately, I haven't taken any photos (no zoom lens, sigh). A couple of the photos in this post didn't come up when I read it, so I'll check back later. Shopping for clothes is one of my least favorite things to do. Hope you have luck. Like you I feel most comfy in old favorites.

Hello, I'm new to your blog, and have enjoyed visiting with you. That moon is gorgeous. I have hit that 'erase' button too, it has caused me to lose more than one blog post. Like you, I don't know which key it is, but I also would like to pull it off this keyboard. lol

This post made me giggle a little, with the gorilla glue for the key and the duct tape for the holes:) Thanks for that smile! I hope you enjoy every moment of your vacation and get you some new britches:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!

Ha! I love the idea of your shirt filled with duct tape. That's hilarious. It probably WAS time to throw it away.

There's a button at the top of the Blogger template that looks like a little leftward arrow. I've hit that button and had it erase my entire post, and I've been unable to get it back. So I'm not sure what you're hitting, but it's definitely good to stay away from that arrow, at least in my experience.

Aw....your favorite shirt! Rebekah does that with clothing but once she tried to get her old vintage jeans repaired and the lady said they were "hopeless". She scoured the internet til she found a newer pair. Oh MY Goodness, she is like that with her little old Ford Escort, circa 2003 She could drive a new high end car but nope, she loves the old car. She also has had three of the same purses since high school. She is 31 nearly 32 this year. HaHaHa! Love her frugal heart.
Goodness life flies by. You be safe and enjoy your trip. HUGS
