Fun With Paints

September 29, 2019

Good morning.  The sun is shining and temps are at 68F degrees and headed for the mid seventies.  Simply beautiful!

Pogo woke me up at 3 a.m. because he was hungry.  Good mommy that I am, I got up and fed him.  After his tummy was full, we both went back to bed.  He drops right off to dreamland.  It takes me a while.  By 7:45 a.m. he was waking me up again so that he could go out into the house and get his turkey treat from Joe.  I get my exercise whether I want it or not.  hahaha.

God Bless Deanne, she had all the young 'uns again for the weekend.  Jack and Lilah are big enough to help now, but those three little ones keep Deanne on her toes and then some.  She kept them busy though.  Friday night, they all made tie dye shirts.  Then they danced the Hokey Pokey for a while.  (hopefully to wear them all out)

Yesterday, Deanne spread out large plastic sheets on the porch and gave them all poster board and Crayola Crayon Paints and brushes and let them get creative.  Later, Deanne sent me photos of everyone with their new shirts.  Here are Aurora, Xander and Alima showing off their new shirts.

And here is Jack and Lilah with their gorgeous new shirts.

Can you tell the kids had a fantastic time?  I got to spend some time with them Friday night via my Portal.  That's really a wonderful invention.  The kids loved talking (and watching) to the Portal on their end, and I loved talking with them and watching them enjoy themselves.

As for me, I haven't been very busy.  I'm still getting better, I think about 90% by now.  I did do a load of laundry, and today I'll do another load of wash.  Maybe I'll even run the mop over the floors.  They surely can use it.  I have to put my trash out too.  After that, it will be nap time.  hahaha.

Today, I have another "oldie" quick page for you.  I hope you can use it.

Here is your download link:

I tried picking up my crocheting last evening but I just wasn't in the mood.  So, today I'm going to try to get back into making some new quick pages.  We'll see what happens.  Now I'm off to do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I would have loved to tie-dye some shirts when I was a kid. I never got to do it until college! What a great activity for them, and they got a fun souvenir to boot.

Those are beautiful little babies. They are getting around but I still look at them as babies. I know she had fun and it looked like they did too.

Sometimes I think our fur babies can tell time because when I finally crawled out of bed this morning and getting ready to take them out and feed them breakfast, Milo was standing at the pet gate waiting on me. Babs and Queen was still being lazy in their beds and I have to stand them up. (lol) I assume Pogo say he get hungry in the middle of the night like we do. We have to take care of our babies. They will let us know when they are in need of something.

We are still in the 80's and 90's here. It's still hot and we are still using air. I can't wait for some of Canada's air to drift our way. We're not getting any drift of cold air from Montana. It's staying away from us. I hope you and pogo have a great Sunday.

So adorable, Edna, this reminds me of fun times with our grandchildren.
I have been absent this week and didn't know you were sick, I am happy you and Pogo are feeling better! He is so adorable.
Read a previous post. I agree about how Dr.'s visits have changed, and not for the betterment of patients.
Congratulations on getting your Masters, while overcoming the obstacles..
I don't usually take the flu shot, but am considering this year as it has been predicted to be a bad season.
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Sue

I think animals have their own internal clock. Jack won't wake me up, but as soon as he sees me moving he is at me to feed him.

What cuties your family has. And the shirts turned out so good! I know they must have had a good time.
