Another Good Day

July 14, 2019

Good morning.  The sun is shining and temps are at 77F degrees.  They should get up into the high eighties soon, and maybe a bit of rain for the morning.  It doesn't look like rain though.  We'll just have to wait and see.

I will try to post tomorrow if I get up early enough.  Otherwise, I may post in the afternoon.  It depends on how late it is when I can finally sit down at my laptop.  I have a follow up check up appointment with my orthopedic doctor tomorrow morning.  I'm doing pretty good in that department though.  It's my breathing that is my main problem.

I stopped using the big oxygen concentrator Friday and I'm only using my portable concentrator.  It's helping me because I don't get so dizzy now when I try to do something.  However, there is a big difference in my breathing in the past month and a half.  I now need to use the oxygen all day and all night.  Before that, I had hours of time when I did not have to use it.

On a bright note, I woke up this morning, again.  And that's a huge plus!  So, even if it rains, it will be a good day.  You know, some time ago, I heard Willie Nelson sing a song on the radio.  It was called "I Woke Up Still Not Dead Again Today."  I do believe he wrote the song to describe his hectic life.  It just goes to show that there are a lot of us oldies who are very happy to see every new morning

I do have some good news.  Daughter Audrey recently got a new sewing machine.  It looks awesome, Audrey.  I wish you lots of wonderful sewing with it.  Here's a photo of her new machine.

I borrowed this image from the web because it's a great way to help our bees and butterflies.

I've been watching SHOP LC on TV all morning, and some of the prices are unbelievable.  They are in the midst of their Summer Vault Clearance.  I'm like a kid in a candy store.  Some of the items they are showing are simply gorgeous!  I've been good though.  I only bought a package of silver cleaning cloths for $8.

Before I leave here to do some blog reading, I have something to share.  I borrowed this from the web because it really gives you something to think about.

On that note, I'll take my leave.  I have to stock my refrigerator with more bottles of spring water.  There's only one left in there.   I drink a lot of water, and I only give Pogo spring water.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

As long as we keep waking up, we're still doing good. I know you know a lot of those that's our ages are already gone on to be with the Lord. When I go to the doctor I see others there doing worse than I am. It gives me a reason to thank God for the condition I am in because it could be worse. You are a good motivator also. I might read other blogs but I never comment. I only comment on yours because you are a very positive, and uplifting person. When your blog isn't there, I miss my big sister. (lol) I've closed all my other social media sights because of the negativity, sexual mishaps, and down right dis-respectful people. We need uplifting sometimes, a smile or two, and a little motivation. I find all that when I read your blogs.

About these politicians......all of them. They are so misguided until nothing is being done. The only thing is happening is that they are living on our tax dollars and bickering about nothing. Instead of doing what's right they are bickering with each other. No laws are being upheld, written or anyone trying to correct problems. I usually doesn't talk about politics but I am tired of all the crap that all of them are doing. The new lady was up there dancing in the hall way when she got there. Now the heifer is complaining about everything and doing nothing. I never remember her name, just her face because of her ignorance. (lol) Maybe oneday things will get back on track and we can see a much better outlook for our country. I could go on and on but I hope you and Pogo have a nice day.

You said everything perfectly and I am taking a HUGE step back from everything Political. There is nothing I can do about it from where I am sitting so I will just make my voice heard at the polls. (Not that I believe it counts anymore but...) At least I will know that I did stand for my country.

I am feeling overwhelmed and I have been up most of the day. I was up most of the night with my stomach hurting so I started back on the medication my doctor gave me for the pain. Digestion problems are not fun lol.

Give my Pogo lots of love and cuddles. I hope you have an awesome day and I hope that you get your oxygen concentrator today and that it works.. All my love, xxx Beth

Trust your breathing gets better. I understand the age thing, as will be 90 next month. I thank the good Load each night for one more day. Take care.
