Yea-a-a-a! I Made My New Blog Book!

June 19, 2019

Good morning.  Tis a gray day here in New England with temps in the sixties.  Soon though, the temps will rise to close to eighty degrees.  When I finish this post, I think I'll go sit on the porch and crochet for a while.  It's supposed to rain but it doesn't come into the porch where I sit.

Well, the title of this post says it all.  Yesterday, I installed Firefox in my little travel laptop and tried to make my blog book.  Nope, nope, nope!  I finally found my way to the help page of the Blog2Print site and asked for a help chat.

After me trying to get in to the site one last time, the chat person gave me a link to go to where I could make and order my blog book.  He stayed on the line with me the whole time.  Once my book was made, I barely proof read it.  I ordered it and payed for it so that nothing could go wrong.  Here are the photos I'm using for the front and back covers of the new book.

I am so happy and glad that my blog book is ordered.  Now I'm going to have to find out what is wrong with my laptops before it's time to make the next book.  My daughter Audrey has a new laptop with Windows 10, and she downloaded Chrome to it.  She says she'll help me do this to my new laptop.

Folks, if you are going to be needing a new PC with Windows 10, don't let my problems with it scare you from getting it.  Half of my problem is that I don't like change when something is working good.  The other half is something else.  I'm not sure what, but I'll keep at it until I figure things out.

If you have children or grandchildren, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help you with the new Windows.  Once I figure it all out, I'll be more than glad to help any of you.  I've got a lot of help and wonderful suggestions from my readers, and I thank all of them.

This past weekend, my daughter Deanne took her grandchildren to a family gathering where they got to play with some of their cousins.  When she got home, she went through some of her photos and piut together this image.  The photo on the left is Aurora, her granddaughter (my gr.g).  In the photo on the right, the shorter girl is my daughter Deanne, and the girl on the right is my daughter Kerri.  It's amazing how much Aurora looks like Kerri.  My Kerri passed away about fourteen years ago.  In this photo, it looks as though she hasn't really left us.  What a wonderful and comforting thought.

Because I've been so busy with PC and blog book problems, I still haven't had time to work on new quick pages.  So I dug into my archives and found this rather pretty quick page.  It's  very plain so that you can decorate it however you like.  It's called Angels Watching, and it might be nice for photos of some loved ones who are no longer here with us.

I don't remember where I got the background, and this is probably why it was still in my archives as an unfinished project.

Here is your download link:

Now I think I'll grab a nice cold bottle of water and head for the porch.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I've been using windows 10 since it came out. They gave it to everyone free. That is if your computer was equipped to take it. Mine was and I changed from windows 7 to windows 10. I don't have any problems with the computers because I can tear one down and put it back together. I use to buy the old ones and upgrade them for my office and other people. My hands got so bad I had to quit because I couldn't go into the narrow places anymore. I had surgery on my hands and then something else messed up. (lol) I just decided to stop and buy the ones that I didn't have to repair. Once you get familiar with your operating system (windows 10) you will love it. There will still be part of it that is not going to be what you like. But you will be able to do more. I had to use computers for a living when they first surfaced. We have come a long way from the 80's and 90's. I am so glad you got your book ordered. You and Pogo have a blessed day.
