Tis Rainy Here In New England

March 22, 2019

Good morning.  It's been raining here, and I guess it will be like this all day and night.  We might even get a bit of snow mixed in with it overnight.  So much for the batch of nice days that were coming up.

Well, yesterday Deanne came by with a delicious pizza for our lunch.  Yum, yum.  We polished off the whole pizza in no time.  My half had green peppers and sausage on it, and hers had mushrooms.  Did I mention it was delicious?

Today I'm going to do the laundry that I did not do yesterday, and then I'm going to cook up a pot of pasta and meat sauce for me, and some hamburger and rice for Pogo.  I won't have to cook again until Sunday.

This week I really have to get some air put into the tires on my car.  I have to do grocery shopping and I have a couple appointments next week, so I can't put it off.  I have that Dragon Air pump in my car's trunk, so maybe I'll ask Joe if he can use it to put air in my tires later today.

This weekend, I'm hoping to get back to my crocheting.  I'd like to finish that shawl that I started in Florida.  I have some different projects that I'd like to try this year, but we shall see what will be.  I do want to look into making the dollies with photo faces.  This might be a fun project for us girls to do next year in Florida.

Today I thought I would post some photos of the beautiful flora that grows at our resort (in Fla.).  There are so many gorgeous colorful plants throughout the resort.

I'm really looking forward to the shrubs and plants around here to start growing and blossoming.  There's nothing like beautiful flowers to put a smile on your face.  I have some new flower seeds that I'm hoping to plant soon.  They are wildflowers to attract butterflies and bees.

Pogo did not eat his supper last night, so I put it away and gave it to him this morning.  It was some nice chicken all cut up.  Needless to say, he would not eat it.  Ah well, he'll just have to wait now until later when I cook up more hamburg.  Some days I wish he wasn't so picky.

That's all my news for today.  Now I want to get that laundry started.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantastic weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Those egrets look beautiful.
And all the photos of all the sorts of flowers in Florida, wow!
Then you found time to make a quickpage and that with my newest kit, it is lovely!
Now hoping that you will finish the tax stuff this weekend and that you can bring it to the accountant next week. You will really feel a lot better then.
We have had some ups and downs too with the weather, but somehow spring getting close to us! We just have to be a little more patient and who knows, next week it will be better and go up in temperatures from there.
Now on to my blog, time for a post there.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Hugs
