Just Missed A Big Storm!

March 4, 2019

Good morning.  Well, Pogo and I had a really nice flight to Florida on Sunday.  Saturday's storm was cleaned up in time for travel, and the next storm hadn't come in yet.  It did hit though later in the day well after we got to Florida.   Sadly, I worry for my family back home.

Back home, we got lambasted with this new storm.  Yesterday, Brockton (5 minutes from my house) had already called in an "all schools closed" bulletin.  The snow is wet and heavy and they got lots of it.  I do believe the snow is still falling.  The Weather Channel is calling it our worst storm of the winter. Deanne sent me some photos today and it looks like they got close to a foot.  I'll have to call her and ask.

Well, let me tell you about the show Saturday night at the Cabaret.  It was awesome!  It was The King and I, and Jazzy played Tuptim, and she's in love with Lun Tha (Nicholas Foster).  Today I am going to post a video of Jazzy's solo.  Deanne did not post this on Facebook because it was a bit fuzzy.  However, it is my favorite so I'm sharing it here with you.  Enjoy!

And here are photos of the proud Daddy (Eddie) and Jazzy, and then a photo of Eddie and De Moody (she played Anna).

Yesterday, Pogo and I got here a little after three in the afternoon, Beth got here about an hour later, and then Audrey got here around supper time.  Once she had a chance to settle in a bit, we all went to Walmart for some food for breakfast.  When we got home, we called out for pizza.  YUM!

We all got a really good night's sleep, and then this morning I took this photo of the counter all set up for breakfast.  There is Audrey's mug, Beth's mug and then my mug (looks like a camera lens.  Audrey and I had the apple fritters, and Beth had fruit and cottage cheese.

In a  little while I'm going to get dressed and then we'll be off to the flea market. We'll go to the one  behind the big Orange Building because we like that one.  Afterwards we'll pick up some more groceries and come home.  Did I mention that the weather is just gorgeous?  It is!

Enough of my babble for today.  It's time to get dressed and get going to the Flea Market.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I am glad that your trip was a safe one. Now you can enjoy life for a while out of the ice and snow. Stay safe, but enjoy yourself. Tell Pogo I said for him not to get too comfortable there. (lol) Have a great stay in Florida
