A Good Day For Indoor Mischief

September 6, 2018

Good morning.  Today is going to be a sizzler.  It's sunny (with a teeny tiny breeze) and the temps are already in the eighties.  Tis a good day to sit by the A/C and crochet.  And maybe watch some of the shopping channels.  Hmmm, the Game Show channel has some wicked fun old game shows so maybe I'll watch them.

Or maybe I'll try converting some of my cassette tapes to mp3's on my laptop.  I have a "Cassette Tape to MP3 Converter" that I want to sit and play with.  My cassette tape collection is huge.  If this gadget works, I'll be busy for a long time converting all my tapes.

Starting tomorrow, temps are supposed to get much cooler so Pogo and I are going to get out this weekend.  One thing I'd like to do is to go to the park and take some photos.  I haven't done that in a while and I miss it.

When the new computer module was installed in my car, my automatic car starter stopped working.  It just needs to be reset.  The auto dealership made an appointment for the starter company to come out to my house tomorrow to reset both of my automatic starters.  Awesome!  I'll be needing these once the cold weather sets in.

I found some new recipes that I'd like to try once the cooler temps get here.  One is for Leftover Mashed Potato Pancakes.

And one is for Spaghetti Salad.

Don't these look yummy?  I found the recipes on "They Call Me Ganky."  She posted the recipe for the potato pancakes on 8-23-18.  I found the other recipe in the long list of tasty recipes that can be found on the right side of her blog.  I also found a recipe for a Sugar Free Strawberry Pie and one for Tater Tot Casserole.  Sound yummy?  Go have a look and enjoy.  Don't forget to stop and say hello to Ganky.

My mailman just came with the mail.  He's off now until next Tuesday.  Next Friday will be his last day delivering the mail.  He will be taking on a new position.  I'm really going to miss him.  He is always so friendly, and Pogo loves barking at him when his truck pulls up out front.  I'm hoping that the new delivery person will be just as nice as this fellow.

Now I think it's time for me to do a bit of blog reading.  Then I'll have a peek into the fridge to see what looks tasty for lunch.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
