If You Look For Beauty, You'll Find It

May 21, 2018

Well, good afternoon.  I would have been here earlier, but I started reading a few blogs, and one of them took a really long time.  I like to start my day by reading one blog in particular, Sean Of The South.  It seems that some misinformed (supposedly educated) person decided to criticize him and his writing.  This was not such a good idea.

People all over love to read Sean's stories every day.  His writings are full of love, life and hope.  And, he loves his dog!  He loves his mother and he loves his wife.  Now, this is my kind of guy!  Sean has a God given gift.  To write.  He tells a story like no one else can.  I. for one, hope he never stops writing.

Click on his link above, and treat yourself to a story about how he once helped to deliver puppies, or how he once had macaroni and cheese and a Budweiser on top of a water tower.  Better yet, maybe he'll even write about the raccoon named Levon that he once put a necktie on.

I did not mean to go on a rant today, but when someone tries to hurt something or someone I care about, I tend to get just a little bit feisty.  If you don't like what someone has to say, just walk away.  It's not necessary to write a nasty letter for the whole world to read.  This only brings you down to a level that no one else wants to be on.

Okay, I'm off my bandstand now.  How about a puzzle?  I have a photo that I'll share.  There's beauty in everything.  See if you can figure out what it is.

Today is looking like such a beautiful day.  It's seventy degrees, and soon temps will be reaching almost eighty.  I think Pogo and I will sit out on the porch this afternoon and watch the birds and squirrels.  Maybe I'll take my crocheting out there too.  Hmmm, sounds like a plan.

I'm off now.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I've been feeling okay today and after reading your blog, I had to pay Sean from the South a visit. I left him a message of encouragement and hopefully he will continue doing what he is doing. I am like you, if you don't like what someone is saying don't read it and stay off the blog. You have bullies everywhere and that is one reason I sit in my back yard only, say hi to the neighbors on my way out or in. There's only one family I will have a conversation with and I called them my children. They know God and they never say anything bad about anyone. I have neighbors that I will speak and that's about it, especially those you see the police is always paying them a visit. People are bullies and I am one who doesn't take the crap, so I hang out to myself so I don't have to hear or see it. I guarantee that person would never say those mean things to Sean in person. They become stars and big bullies online. I am seldom on social media because of that reason. It doesn't make sense to get mad because you can't slap them across the head online. (lol) Hug Pogo for me.
