Adoration

May 15, 2018

Good morning.  The sun is barely peeking out from behind some clouds.  I'm sure though, that it will be shining brightly in just a little while.  Temps are supposed to hit the low eighties (right now it's sixty degrees).  There's a brisk breeze causing my flag to do its own version of a frisky Cha Cha Cha.

Little by little all the birdies are coming back to my yard.  The Robins and Blue Jays have been busy collecting things for their nests.  At least that's what I think they are doing.  The little Sparrows have been chirping by window to let me know they want the feeder filled.  Sometimes, one or two of them will sit on the porch gate and look in at me till I get their message.

I did not go grocery shopping yesterday, so I guess I'll have to go today.  If I can get that out of the way, then maybe Pogo and I can go shopping tomorrow at Ocean State Job Lot.  We are getting low on birdseed, and we could use a couple more dishes to put under the plant pots.

Speaking of plants, I took a photo of the beautiful plant that DIL Janet brought me.  It has lots of greenery in it plus petunias and pansies for added color.

Yesterday was sort of a lazy day for me.  I really didn't do much of anything that shows, but it was a nice pleasant day.  I did spend some time on my laptop working on one of the photos that I took on Saturday night.  As I mentioned before, there was one photo taken by accident, and it turned out to be a favorite of mine.

I was trying to get a photo of Jazzy and my great granddaughter Lilah.  However, by the time I got my phone pointed their way, everyone had moved.  At the moment when I clicked the button to take the photo, Jazzy and Lilah were having a conversation.  But, oh my, there was so much love in that photo.

I spent quite a while removing the background from the photo, then I made a new background.  I call this photo "Adoration."

Pogo is sitting by the door, watching for the mailman.  He just loves barking at him.  He doesn't seem to scare any of the folks that he barks at.  He barks, they smile.  It's become a game.  I guess I'll wait until after the mail has come to go grocery shopping.  Otherwise, Pogo will miss the mailman.

Now I think I'll take my leave.  I have some dishes to wash before I get ready to go out.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
