Keeping An Eye On The Storm Up North

March 11, 2018

Good morning.  The sun hasn't come out yet, but the temperature is 68F degrees.  Soon it will get up to the low 70's.  We might even get  little rain today.  The green lawns and beautiful flowers will be loving it.

I've been watching the  Weather Channel to see how badly the Northeast will fare with this new snow storm.  It's not looking so good right now.  The forecast is calling for a foot or more of snow for my hometown.  The best I can hope for is that we don't get as much as they say we will, and that it will warm up and melt it all quickly.  No, I don't smoke  the funny stuff!  I just like to think positive.

Yesterday was laundry day, plus I spent a lot of time on my laptop making quick pages.  Does anyone else spend hours working on one quick page?   I get an idea in my head for something, and then I spend hours either looking for it or making it.  That's how yesterday went.  I spent at least two hours each on two different quick pages.  Most of this time was spent making one element for each page.  But when I finished each page, I was pleased.  So that's all that counts.

We are on week two here in Fla Fla.  Gosh, it goes by so quickly.  The good thing is that neither Beth nor I got sick this year.  (knock on wood)   We've been able to get out and do things whenever we feel like it.  Today or tomorrow, we'll probably take another trip to Old Town and to Orange World.  These are two of my favorite places to visit.  Here's a photo I took of a post card that features a picture of Orange World.  I's advertised as the world's largest orange.

Let me  give you an update on the Drama competitions back home.  The semi finals were held this past weekend, and Jazzy's school got another award.  Now they move on to the finals in Boston.  I'll let you know more when I get more information.  Here's the  award that Jazzy's school got.

I also have photos of a couple of the beautiful hedges that they have here in Florida.  Some have pink flowers, some have blue flowers, others have yellow flowers.  They really are beautiful.

Now I think I'll take my leave.  Housekeeping is here and they'll be wanting to clean this room soon.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
