Oh Goodie! More Snow!

February 1, 2017

Good morning.   Tis a white wonderland around here.  The snow started yesterday and hasn't stopped yet.  The good thing is that it is a light snow.  Even so, there's a few inches of it and it is making it difficult for me to get out to pay my taxes today.  One way or another, I still have to get this done today.

I've put in a call to see if Cliff can come by to shovel the snow, but he is not available right now.  Ah well, Old Man Winter put the snow here.  Maybe he'll take it all away too.  (Oh sure, keep dreaming!)  Here's a photo of my car.

And here's a photo of my handsome little guy watching and waiting at the gate.  He's shivering because it is cold, but he has high hopes that Joe will come home early to give him his turkey treat.

Well, January just flew by, and already it's February.  Something tells me that this is going to be another quickie year.  Or maybe time just passes quicker when we get older.  Something to think about!  Here's the February page from my calendar.

Last night, I finished the orchid scarf, and started on the matching hat.  Unless I keep the bottle of Advil handy, I can only put on a few rows at a time.  It's okay though, because the afghan and hat and scarf sets are for next winter.

Lately I seem to be more scatterbrained.  I forgot to mention a few days ago that another great grandson has been born.  Welcome Carmelo William, born on January 29th.    This makes ten great grandkids.

Well, I think I'll go start my car.  Maybe if it runs for a while, the snow will melt right off it.  Well, it's worth a try.  I really do have to get to Town Hall.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Edna,
Well it does look like Old Man Winter hit you hard! I worry about you driving in that kind of snow but I know that you have to do what you have to do in order to take care of business.

My head is hurting this morning. I am not surprised as all of the allergies are just booming around in the air here. They said that we are in for another day of near record temps. Almost 80 again today. I would gladly send it your way to help you out but it is not within my power to do so.
Seriously our trees don't know if they should bud or not. I have seen bees and one thing that I am buying, probably more than one is some carnivorous plants. I know that there is more out there than Venus Fly Traps but I am getting some of them too because the gnats and flies are driving me bonkers.

I was going out today but instead I am home so I can keep an eye on my Cisco baby. He tried jumping off my bed yesterday and hit the side rail of my bed frame. Of course it had to be on the side he had already injured. So I was up most all night to make sure he was ok and he is doing a lot better today. We even went for a walk this morning. Not as brisk as we usually have but he took care of business. I will call you later on. Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you back but with Cisco falling and my company that stayed until nearly 8 pm last night I totally forgot to call you back. I am so sorry.
Much love, Beth and Cisco xoxoxxo

Hi Edna,

Finally I am back again. Had a virus or malware, our friend came by, and sat with me at the computer to try to get rid of it He knew a program for it and it fixed it. Glad all seems to go well with my laptop again Must not say it too loud, but I v=cross fingers.
Hope you could go to Town Hall with not too much snow on the road.
I had to smile reading your story about the manuals.
You are so right, often they have lots of info, but not really the one you need and if so, it often is printed very uncomprehensible!!!
I will try to make a blogpost tomorrow so you will have a bit more info about our past week.(most of it clouded by the laptop problems LOL)
Weather here has changed for better at the moment We will have about two days with temps of around 10-12C! Then later it will go down again a bit but still no frost, and I hope it will stay like that.
You have a wonderful day!
Hug
Kyra
