Some Days, Pogo Has A Lot To Say!

November 10, 2015

Good morning.  It's a bit nippy, only 48F degrees and cloudy, but it will warm up a bit more soon.  Today the temps are supposed to reach almost 60F with some sunshine.  Not bad for an Autumn day.

Well, I did not do everything I wanted to do yesterday, but I did do a couple loads of laundry.  Plus I took some photos of the new crochet projects, and I addressed a few Christmas cards.  So I guess that wasn't too bad.   Here are the last six neck warmers that I've finished.  Two light raspberry, one pale plum, two spring green and one rose camo.

I probably don't need this many neck warmers, but they are fun to make and I'm sure to find lots of folks who could use a nice surprise on a cold day.  Joe thinks I'm nuts because whenever I go by someone on the side of the road holding a sign asking for help, I pull over and give them some money.  So now I'll give them a neck warmer too.  You know, I figure "but for the grace of God there go I."

Late yesterday afternoon, I decided to take a warm wet face cloth and clean Pogo's face around his eyes.  By the time I got his little head all wet, I decided to just put him in the sink and give him a full bath.  Obviously, this was not on Pogo's "to do" list, but he goes along with it.  He's a very good little fellow.  After he was dry, I put a nice warm sweater on him so that he would not catch a cold.

I have some photos of my little guy that I took a few days ago while we were at the park.  Pogo was sitting in the car in his car seat.  As you can see, he had a few things to say to me.  He was in a big hurry to get out and walk around.  Goodness knows that there are so many different smells there that need to be sniffed!  And he's a great sniffer!!

After supper last evening, I curled up in my lounge chair with my crochet hook and the baby blanket I'm working on.  I was all set to watch this week's episode of Major Crimes.  Well, I guess you know what happened next.  I woke up about three hours later and had to wait for the re-run of my program to come on.  I'm just lucky that my crochet hook hasn't fallen out of my hand and dropped down into the inside of the chair.   (Ah, but I have a spare hook stashed away for just in case.)

I don't have a list of things to do today.  I'll just start somewhere and see how far I can get.  Goodness knows there's lots here to keep me busy for a long time.  haha.  I have a couple of phone calls to make, so maybe I'll do that first.

Well, that's my news for this morning.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Gosh Edna, Pogo really was talking up a storm. I am sure that you both had a very enlightening conversation and of course he wanted out. Something caught his fancy and he needed to investigate.

Well since I hung up with you I have cleaned the kitchen. That's it. I have been trying to keep in touch with my friend Patsy. She caught a terrible virus and I have been trying to get her to go to the hospital. She finally went today and I guess that it was meant to be because they would have probably sent her home if she had gone earlier so she went this morning and they are admitting her.
I am so glad that they are. She has a terrible disease that I cannot pronounce or spell but basically her skin turns to leather. Not only does it affect her skin but her organs too. There is no cure. Eventually all of her organs will turn hard. Hopefully that will be many years from now. But in the mean time any virus or cold can be very hard on her.

Cisco has deserted me so I must go and find him. He had his breakfast. I guess he is hanging out with Lady and Nathan, since he is off work today. And I need to find something to eat. I missed lunch since I slept in and breakfast too... That is really bad for me but I just could not sleep last night. Too many things going on here to sleep. I got caught up in a really great program called Physic Investigators who help the police solve crimes... wow what an interesting program.
Hugs for now from me... I am sure that Cisco sends his best wishes too.... Beth

You do a very nice job on your neck warmers. Definitely would help in gift giving. You will be blessed with your kindness.

Pogo is just such a little cutie! My hubby always gives money too if he has some, because I believe also there but for the grace of God go I! I never forget that! Kobi, needs a last bath before winter too, but we're having a cold front, so she is lucking out (she hates the bath).

No matter how much you did, finally you did some things of your list, so that's good. Your neckwarmers really look fun. Oh. just be careful pulling over with your car whenever you see someone with a sign asking for help!!!
There are people who are pretending and have bad thoughts!
Pogo looks great in the shots. I am sure he had a lot to talk about with you.
Specially love the 1st photo!
I was a bit busy yesterday, and I am glad I did one thing of my list.
I cleaned the shelve and cupboars on top in the kitchen. I should do it more often but okay, it is crisp and clean again for a while LOL.
In the afternoon I watched a rerun of a season of The Great British Bake off, I just love that program. and after some weeks you have some favourites, of course so that makes it a bit more exciting, to see if they will go on for the next round.
Okay, we'll see what I will do today, no the foggiest idea yet, LOL.
You have a lovely day,
Hug
Kyra
