Oh What A Beautiful Morning, Oh What A Beautiful Day.

November 3, 2015

Good morning.  I must say that it is absolutely lovely outside today.  The sun is shining, it's fairly warm and there's a nice breeze.  As I look out my door, I see a tree (at the end of the driveway) glowing in gorgeous golds and yellows.  Our flag is waving against this beautiful backdrop of Autumn colors.   This makes my eyes really happy.

Well, yesterday Pogo and I took a ride to the Post Office.  There's a small fenced in grassy area at the corner of the parking lot, and Pogo just can't wait to run in there to start sniffing all the strange smells.  I have to pick him up and carry him back to the car or we'd be there all day.

Last evening, I got all settled in my comfy lounge chair with crocheting in hand, to watch the season opener of "Major Crime."  I woke up just as it was ending.  Wah, wah, wah!  So I decided to make something to eat seeing as how Pogo and I had a very light supper.  By the time I did this and washed up all the dishes, the program was being re-run.  This worked out pretty good.

The down side was that now I would be awake for a few hours when I'd rather be sleeping.  The good side was that I finished the light raspberry neck warmer that I was making and started another one.  I'll have to take photos later.

Today I thought I'd share some humor that I found on the web.  This first image really made me smile big time.  This lovely lady proves that just because we're a bit older, we're not to be messed with.  Go get 'em girl!!

This second set of images is for some really simple home remedies.  However, I don't suggest you try any of them.  I think my favorites are #'s 1, 5, 7 & 9.

Pogo is at the door and barking ferociously at something.  I walked over to see what or who was outside, but there is no one there.  Just little birds enjoying the peanut butter treat.  I picked him up so that he could see more of what was out there, and he stopped barking.  After a couple of minutes, I set him down and came back to my post.  Now he's barking again.  Maybe it's the leaves flying around that is getting him excited.  Hmmm?

Well, there's not much news this morning, and it's getting very close to lunch time.  I think I'll take my leave here and head for the kitchen.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna,
It took me a little while but I finally got to catch up on all of your blog posts. Oh what a great trip to Paris and Yes I spotted you and Pogo flying over Texas. So glad that you did not hit any of the bad storms in my area. They had moved eastward so I knew you and your friends would be safe flying over me. Too bad that I didn't feel up to joining you this year. Perhaps next year! Oh and Cisco was especially excited to see the two of you. He whined as you flew out of site. I think that he wanted to give you cuddles and licks for all the good treats that you send to him!

Thank you for all the beautiful QP's that your doing. Now it is time for the Thanksgiving pages that I must start. I turned down a couple of new offers to CT for some really great ladies. I just do not feel up to it this time but one lady said for me to just let her know anytime that I decide that I want to CT for her that there is no limitation for her team. What a nice gesture.

I am feeling a little more composed today. I am sure that it is due to my medication increase on my anxiety medication. Thankfully I had that or I would have just been all over the place. Sunday was hard enough and Monday was a hard day but I finally got some sleep and I know that Casey would not want me carrying on in this manner. Still what else can you do? Edna thank you so much for being there for me.

Love the neck warmers. They are so darling. I am really glad that you were able to get the calendar and cards taken care of. It sure makes a big difference to have these things done early. I must start filling mine out soon. I have narrowed down my list this year to those that I am sending to. I have asked early for addresses and they have not responded so oh well, their loss this year!

A friend of mine sent me a blog link to create myself a blog where I can post all of my scrap pages so it will be much easier for those in my groups to go to and another reason is that the Designers can go to my gallery to see my work. What work though right now. I have had to pull back a little. Heart, mind, body and spirit has to have some more time to heal.

I guess that I will leave for now. Perhaps try to update my blog. I have taken my meds and they just make me so tired. I will just do what I can and leave the rest for another day. Xo and lots of love to you and Pogo for little Cisco and me....

Always a smile when I come over here! You and Pogo are always up to something good. I am surrounded by two large dogs and two smaller cats. Jeremy is in Phoenix for two days so the dogs are here to stay! Hannah came home from work last night and thought she saw Bandit at the end of the driveway. Poor fellow is senile and goes right through the gate if we don't get him inside likety split. HaHaHa! But it was not him but a little white dog. She called the phone # on his tags but it was d/c. SO she brought him in for a minute to see what we should do. He must be a kooky dog because he ran up to my freshly painted hallway and peed all over the place. Out the front door he went. He was hitting himself against the door and we ignored him then he started barking like mad! MY hubby turned off the porch light and he left. Weirdest dog ever. We are not mean spirited people but for goodness sakes, update your pet info when you have a pet. Keep them in the yard. Bandit fits through a tiny hole in my fence. But I watch him like a hawk because he is so elderly. Eyesight is shot but hearing in 100 percent like a Vulcan! I am shocked at the pets I see roaming about. The animal control closes at 5:30 P.M. so it is dumb they do not have any after hours number when most dogs or cats disappear. Duh! Anyway no sign of the kook this morning when I was out and about. I wonder if people train their pets to annoy others. Hmmmm.....

Have a great day!

those were seriously funny! I'm so jealous. we don't really have leaves that change color here, which is a bummers. I'm from Hawaii and they don't change there either. so I've never seen leaves in a wide array of colors except in pictures and tv. My Kobi, was all upset today, because my neighbors washed their patio rugs and hung them on the stone wall we both share. She didn't like that one bit. I was cracking up. she doesn't like things to be where they aren't supposed to be.

so you and Pogo had a fun time going to the Post office(well, Pogo the most, I guess LOL).
The "remedies"were funny, but better not to try out.
at the moment I live here on the 4 th of Novemeber, so I already can say:
Happy Birthday Edna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, I so hope the postman will bring my card for you in time.
I did sent it on Monday last week.
Jan is still busy on the repair of the manger, it's almost finished, but with the new varnish on it it looks wonderful again.
Yesterday was another beautiful day, I think today there moght be a little rain, not much, perhaps just some drizzling, but still good temperatures for the time of year.
It can go on like this for me!
You have an awesome birthday-day,
Hug
Kyra
