Now I Know. I Have ADCD!!!!!

September 27, 2015

Good morning.  Oh my gosh, I'm just not ready for the Fall "cool down" temps.  When it drops down to 47F degrees in the evening, I'm wishing the heat were on.  But of course, it's too early to be putting the heat on.

Right now, it's up to 57F degrees (10"25 a.m.) and will hopefully make it up to around 71F degrees by early afternoon.  At least the sun is shining, so that helps.  It's time to get out all my jeans and sweatshirt jackets and launder them.  The shorts and light blouses will have to be packed away now.

I'll have to make an appointment this week to have the furnace cleaned out.  Goodness, where has the year gone?  In just three months, we'll be celebrating another new year.  Time is slipping by a bit too quickly for me.

Well, I finally found a name for what is wrong with me.  I have ADCD.  Attention Deficit Cleaning Disorder.  Phew!  That's a relief!  All these years that I've been cleaning and cleaning, while my place never looks like I did anything at all.  Now I know why.  (Image from web)

Yesterday, while looking through one of my catalogues, I found a really pretty necklace that I think I'll try to make.  This afternoon, I'll look up what materials I need for it.  I'm thinking that this might be a great project to work on when I'm in Florida this winter.  This photo isn't great but you can at least see how pretty this is.  I'm not so crazy about the earrings, but I can always make them a bit different.

Oh yuck yuck!  I just took a sip of my coffee, and it has turned into iced coffee.  Phooey!  Now I'll have to make me a new "hot" cup of coffee.  This is just one of the reasons I don't like the cold.  I like to take my time and enjoy my "hot" coffee.

This week is a sort of special milestone in my blogging life.  Wednesday, I will post my 2600th blog post.  Gosh, I never thought when I started this blog that I'd still be posting almost daily this many years later.  I'm working on some extra freebies for this week to celebrate.

That's about all my news for this morning.  Before I go, I thought I'd share this cute Minion image with you.  I had no trouble at all reading this.  Lots of print looks strange to me, but I've learned to adapt and translate.

I'm off now.  So, till tomorrow, I hope Y'all have a magnificent day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh my you never heard of poprocks, they are a wicked candy and when you place them in your mouth they pop and sizzle. They are in a small package and look like shards of broken glass, gosh have not had any in years..... Pretty jewelry. Wow! Sparkling.....

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ADCD is your disease, well, I think I can join the club LOL!
Yes, it is definately time to sometimes have the central heating(in my case) on for a moment in the evening. Just to get rid of the bit of cold that is creeping in. It's the time of year that you don;t know what to wear, in mornings you like a sweatshirt, but when the sun comes out and warms things up in the early afternon, you have to take it off and in the evening, sitting on the couch you can do with something warmer on again.
Had myself an aweful lazy day yesterday, which felt great. did make a good start on a new kit too, I think I have 3 now in "production".

Looks nice, that necklace, and it will be a change from the crochet for a moment too, making this.
Have a lovely day, my dear,
Hug
Kyra

Oh Edna, so that is the same disorder that I have... ADCD... what a coincidence!!!

Did you see the Blood Moon last night? It was beautiful here. Not to vivid because we had some light hazy cloud cover but the moon filtered thru it and it was just gorgeous. I didn't stay out for the whole thing. But enough that I enjoyed it a lot.

Karyn and Joe spent the weekend with us. It is a good thing that I got that nap on the sofa last evening because we talked until after 2 this morning. Karyn was upset with him because she wanted to go home and he didn't so she went to bed during the blood moon and at 12:30 he came in and said that they could go home and she said... I am already in bed and I am staying the night. No place for Joe to sleep since we tossed out our other sofa so he finally went home. Not to be rude or anything but I was trying to end the evening as politely as I could. Finally I just told him I had to go to bed and started steering him to the door.
He wasn't being rude deliberately. He just gets really wound up and we did engage in great conversations. It is that he just does not realize how late it gets when he is over here since I am a night owl too but I would think that when you see everyone else getting up and going to bed that should be a hint lol.

I found that head band that I want to send to you. I think that you will like the design. I will get it ready to mail on the first. It is slightly unusual. But it might be easy enough for you to make if you want to.

Cisco is not happy with Foxy. He was more than ready for her to go home yesterday. We are not sure what was wrong with her but she kept attacking Cisco. I have no idea why she was so aggressive but she was very jealous of him yesterday and finally we put her into my room and shut the door. We really didn't have a choice but to put her in my room since she was acting so terrible.

I have a doctors appointment today and I have been on hold with the transportation company to make sure that they have my schedule information. Thankfully while I was typing this, they finally answered my call and I am on schedule. One thing less to worry about!

Well I guess that I need to get off here and get a few things done to this house before I have to get ready to leave. You have a great day. Oh and I totally love the little minion. I guess I am twisted because I read it with no problems. LOL... Hugs to you and smooches to Pogo. Beth and Cisco.
