Who Rescued Whom?

August 5, 2015

Good morning.  Well, it's really almost noon.  My little guy and I slept in rather late this morning.   It's already 80F degrees and headed for the mid 80's.  However, tomorrow will start the slight cooling down temps for about a week.  The nights will be best, with temps in the upper 50's.   This will be really great for sleeping.

Well, Wayne (my PC guru) came by last evening to check the settings on my TV so that I could finish the DVD that I had started the night before.  Yippee!  When he left, I made another DVD.  Three more, and I can erase that whole program (that I'm taping) off my DVR.   Daughter Audrey cannot get cable where she lives, so I tape our favorite programs and send them to her.

After work yesterday, Eddie and Deanne came by with a present for Pogo.  It's the cutest little shirt!!  It's too hot to wear it just now, but Pogo played with his new shirt for a while in between giving lots of loves to his Auntie Dee.  Here's a photo of this adorable little shirt.  The message is incredibly true!

While the kids were here, Eddie cleaned the windows on my storm door, and got rid of all the dead fly bodies that were trapped between the glass and the screen.  Yeaaaahhh!!   I don't know why the flies were attracted to my door, and I hope they don't come back anytime soon.

I'm watching the Weather Channel, and they just showed a photo of a storm that came into Boston yesterday afternoon.  It showed fog so thick you could not see the buildings.  We were lucky in my little neighborhood because we did not get any of this fog and hail.  We could, however, see the huge black clouds in the sky.  We all thought we were in for something feisty, but it not make it to our area.

I don't have a freebie ready for today, so I'll post another brain teaser puzzle.  I hope you enjoy this type of puzzle, because I really love them.  I had to study the image for a while, but I finally found all eight differences.  Good luck.

Well, time is fleeting and I want to get a few things done around here before DIL Janet gets here this afternoon.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs,  Edna B.

You are much more techno savvy than we are. We finally unhooked the recorder because it was too complicated to use. Haven't had much use for taping anything anyway. Cute shirt for Pogo and isn't that just the truth!

I will gladly swap weather with you. It is just 105 with heat index 115. I dearly enjoy seeing how many changes you can find in a picture. They used to make a book of them, but no longer can find it.

I love the shirt. The two of you were a perfect match. The weather here has been pretty mild. I am ready for fall though.
