This Internet Is Wicked Finniky

March 11, 2015

Good morning.  Me thinks that something funny is going on at the office here.  This is the second day in a row that I've had to call the support phone number in order to get my internet connection back.  Yesterday the tech assured me that there should be no more problems with this connection, and yet here I was again this morning trying not to rip out my last few strands of hair because I had no access to the internet again.

I've been coming here for at least thirty years, so I think that the least this resort could offer me is problem free internet.  I know it doesn't sound like much, but to those of us with tablets and computers (and gray hair with short patience) it is.

Last night, I showed DIL Janet how to make stuffed peppers, and my oh my, supper was sooooo delicious.   Afterwards, we decided to stay in and do our shopping in the morning.   We had a loaf of bread that we kept in the refrigerator to keep it fresh, but it got moldy.  Yuck Yuck!   We did not notice the mold until after our lunch sandwiches were already made and ready to eat.

This morning, we'll take a ride to the market to buy some fresh bread.  On the way home, we'll stop by that little pond up the road to take some photos.   Then we'll come back here and work on our crochet projects.  Does it sound boring?  Well it may be, but it is very enjoyable.

Today I have photos of some of the local flora to share.   I will need to take more photos of the beautiful flowers here.  Even the hedges here have flower blossoms all through them.  The critters in the first photo are just a little something extra.

Mr. Buzz (that's what I call the dude with the leaf blower) is busy blowing bits of grass around outside our unit.  The noise is very annoying, so I think this is a good time to get dressed and head out to the supermarket.

In case anyone is interested, it is 78F degrees here already.  But I happen to know that it is in the 40's back home so perhaps Spring is heading toward Massachusetts?  Wouldn't that be nice.  Well, that's all my news for this morning.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Lovely Lovely flowers Edna. I love the little extra critters! They are really important to our Eco System. We endured the lawn guys here yesterday. I wait until the day after they leave to sweep off the patio as they are always blowing stuff onto it.

Nathan went and checked the mail this morning and I received your post card! Yay.. I have it propped up beside my computer so I can look at it. Thank you so much. I love it. I shall add it to my scrapbook in a couple of weeks. For now I will enjoy it.

That is really frustrating about the internet service. You should just be able to connect and enjoy. Especially since you have been going to the same resort for all of these years.
We still have someone connected to ours. Jonathan has to call customer service. I cannot do it for him because I don't have his information. He just has had a really lousy couple of days at work and came home all tired and frustrated with computers. They are updating his system at work and he is not happy with the new changes. He said that every time he gets used to the system then it is changed.

So glad that you enjoyed the stuffed peppers. I had a baked potato and chili for dinner last night. Compliments from my son and Wendy's.

You have a great day and I will talk to you soon. Hugs, Beth

It may sound boring, the passing of your days, but how wonderful is it to be able to say so and not really mean it LOL!?
Vacation is all about getting sme extra energy back by doing not too much and do it at the time you like to do it.
Am I making any sense?
Envy you, and more when I see all those beautiful flowers already blooming there!!
That's medicin for the eyes and soul, hahaha.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs

Oh Edna, on this first day of a stricter diet for me for the next 2 weeks, the stuffed peppers smell heavenly. Yes, stricter dieting sensitizes me to the point that I can internet smell! LOL It's really not that bad but stuffed peppers does sound wonderful. I make stuffed pepper sup because David isn't a pepper fan to make actual stuffed peppers. Maybe the next time I visit my Dad I'll suggest stuffed peppers, hmm...

The flowers are just beautiful! Even the extra guys in the first photo. I saw one tiny fly when I picked up a package on the porch on Monday, but it was in a bad way. Still to early for the insect critters here.

Our cousin in Boston posted some photos of "icebergs" that have washed up on shore and some melting snow in the area. Boy, there is SO much to melt though! We're seeing lots of melting and pretty much more brown showing than white. Maybe green is just a few days away? I hope so!

I'm not going to ask you to send any of the Florida warmth to us in Ohio this year. I think you should take the souvenir sun home with you because there is a greater need to hurry spring along in Massachusetts this year. You guys SO deserve that after all the snow this winter!!

You and Pogo keep cool! :)
Hugs, Nani

Pretty flowers!
Oh I hate mold, I just bought a loaf of french bread and had it a few days! Went to make a sandwich and there was the yucky moldy stuff! Aack!
The internet service stinks in so many places. I remember traveling to NYC and boy that was murder! Too many people, not enough space to accomodate all of us! Aack!
Glad you are in the sunshine though!

Oh the curses of internet connections. We were not able to get on at all while at the rally. I guess having 800 RV's all trying to do the same thing was just a bit too much. Now they are gone and our hot spot seems to be working fine again.
