Sunshine, Here We Come!

March 1, 2015

Good morning.  It's almost 6 a.m. and I still have a few little things to do before leaving this morning.  Our bags are all packed (except for my slippers) it appears that the snow and rain are going to hold out until after we've made it to Florida.

Pogo has been antsy because he just knows that something is up.  At bedtime last night, I covered him with my bathrobe, and he slept right through until just a few moments ago when he heard me moving around.   He's just like me.  It doesn't take much to make him happy.

I'm just posting a short hello this morning, because we'll be leaving in a couple of hours and I won't have a chance to play with my laptop again until this evening.   Here's an image from Google of our plane.  (well, it looks like our plane)  In just a few hours we'll be on it.  Woo Hoo!!

Daughter Audrey and her friend left yesterday morning to drive down to meet us in Florida.  I got a phone call mid-day to say that all was well.  Last evening, they called to say that the trip so far was good, and that they were in for the night at a motel.  Have a good night girls, and safe travelling tomorrow.  See you in the sunshine state.

It's also a brand new month, so before I take my leave, here's the March page from my calendar.

Now I'm going to enjoy this cup of coffee and take one last look around to make sure I haven't forgotten anything important.  I'm sure that later today I'll remember a few things, but oh well.  haha.  Deanne and Eddie will here in a while to take us to the airport.

So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a superlicious day!

Hugs, Edna B.

Safe travels and I hope it's nice and sunny and warm where you're heading. You need a break from the winter more than anyone I know.

Here's hoping that both of you have a Gorgeous and safe trip and that the ladies have a safe and successful rest of their journey! You so deserve to see some sunshine and not snow. Maybe while you are gone Mother Nature will decide to smile on your state and stop sending that white stuff that way and you can come home to Spring trying to thaw things out. Enjoy and have a lovely vacation. Chat with you again later! Hugs, Mat

Glad you had a safe journey to Florida. Enjoy it and perhaps after your return home the snow will pick up and leave. Go home to Santa, I heard he was sad for all that frosty white stuff. enjoy! Glad Audrey and her friend made it safely too. Fun in the sun, that would be you! Pogo too!
