Congratulations Kevin

February 1, 2015

Good morning.  Gosh, the sun is shining here, but it sure is cold!!  It's 9F degrees, and it's only supposed to maybe get up to 29F degrees.  Winter storm Kari didn't hurt us too bad, but storm Linus isn't going to be so nice.  We're looking at another 12 to 18 inches of snow.   We are under storm warning from 9pm tonight to 1 am Tuesday.

My goodness, where are we going to put all this snow?  The weather forecast shows even more snow coming next Wednesday and Thursday.  Groan, Groan, Groan.  I guess now we know why my driveway is so big.  We have to have room for mountains of snow besides all the cars.

At the moment, the Chicago area is under blizzard warning, and are getting a large dose of snow.  I hope that Nani and Andrea are both ready for the storm and are safe and warm.  That goes for everyone else in the wake of Storm Linus.  I hope you all stay safe.

I'm sure everyone has noticed that January has gone by, and it's already February.  So here's the February page from my calendar.

Let's get to the good news.  My grandson Kevin went for his road test this past Friday, and HE PASSED!!!   Yeahhhhh!   Congratulations Kevin..  There is only one more grandchild younger than Kevin,  (his sister Jasmine) and she is in high school.  All my babies' babies are grown up.  Next thing you know, the great grand babies will all be grown up too.  Wow, sometimes being old can be quite nice.

Also good news, I finally managed to make a Page Two here on my blog for all the 365 Word Photos.   The link is at the top right side just above my avatar.  Click on "Word Photos" to go to that page.  To return, just click "Home".   So, if anyone else wants to play, send me your photos and I'll upload them.  My email is in my profile.

I know I'm behind on my word photos, but I will catch up.  I've just been very busy here doing things that crop up, and of course, setting up the new page.   I'm not sure I set the page up right, but it seems to be working.

Now for some fun photos.  Daughter Deanne sent these to me a few days ago during the Blizzard.  SIL Eddie went outside and shoveled a path so that Sassy could get to a safe place to go potty, But this wouldn'tt do because Sassy is in the habit of going way out to the back yard for her potty duties.

So now Dad had to shovel a new path all the way out to Sassie's spot in the back yard.  Ah well, that's Dad's do, right?   Anything for our fur babies.   Here's Eddie getting ready to start the new path.

Is every one ready to settle in this afternoon to watch the Puppy Bowl on the Animal Channel?   Right after the Puppy Bowl, the Super Bowl will begin.  Good luck to the New England Patriots.   I'm not a football fan, but it sure would be nice to see our team win again.  Especially after all the nonsense in the news.  So, GO PATS!!!!!

Well, it's time to make some breakfast for Pogo and me.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and warm, and have a super day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Thats alot of snow and that wasn't all of it. We sure spoil those puppies. Stay safe. We got more snow. Just hoping that the rain missed us. Since it's dark out we can't tell.
Hugs
Congrats to the new driver. I can imagine how proud he is. I hope he doesn't want to drive in a blizzard.

Feel so sorry for you that you still will have more snow and nasty storms. it's about time they move away and let room for some niced weather.
Congrats to Kevin for passing the tests!
Wonderrful that you managed to make a second page for your word photos!
Nothing much to ramble about, so I will make a post on my blog and then will see what I will do today LOL.
Have a warm day and stay safe.
