My Little Guy Is Feeling Himself Again

December 22, 2014

Good morning.  Well, we had just enough snow yesterday for Joe to get out the shovel and clear it all away.  Today is cloudy, and we may get some rain showers tonight.  The weatherman says there is rain in our forecast for each of the next three days.  I'm thinking that maybe snow would be better.  A white Christmas is definitely better than a soggy Christmas.

I was watching the news on TV this morning, and they were showing a 103 year old golfer in Florida who had just made a hole in one.  This gentleman looks super for his age, and says that this is his 8th hole in one.  Way to go!!!!!

Pogo seems to be feeling much better.  Yesterday he actually ate some of his doggie food, and he ate all of his supper last evening.   This makes my heart very happy.   We had a mail delivery yesterday, a box from daughter Audrey.  Of course, Pogo had to do his job and give the box a thorough sniffing.

A friend sent me some cute animal pictures, and I'll share a couple of them here today, and save the rest for tomorrow.  These pictures always put a huge smile on my face.

Today Pogo and I must go out to do a couple of quick errands.  I did not get to the hardware store over the weekend to drop off all the pet food in my car's trunk, so that will be first on our list for this morning.

Later, I really must decided what I want to do about Christmas dinner.  First I need to find out if any of the dwarfs will be spending the day at home.   I will have to tend to this later this afternoon because time is getting short.  Christmas is only three days away.

That's all the news for this morning, so I think I'll have a cup of coffee while I do a bit of blog reading.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Good Morning Edna ... I think I will share a moment with a cup of coffee and you. I am on the fly today ... again. I need to buy food for our Christmas dinner and a few last minute things. Can you believe, I bought a gift for my friend and now I not only can't find it, I don't remember what it was, Ha! If I knew what it was it might help me know what I am looking for. Oh my, getting old can be a burden, but funny if you choose to maintain your sense of humor. Anyway, while I am out, I will buy another gift for my friend because if I do that, her original one will surely show up :)
Glad Pogo is feeling better. wouldn't want the little boy to be sick for Christmas ... actually don't want the little boy to be sick ever. Izzi has been getting laser treatments on her bum. She had been having pain there and her Vet thought this would help. It seems to have worked because she is a full of energy and play. So both of our babies will be in good shape for Christmas. Tomorrow, I will clean the house ... ugh, not my favorite job. I will probably allow some of the dust bunnies to hang around ... don't want to be cruel at Christmas, right. I still have a few things to wrap and then done ... yes done. I don't know if I will be really done or if I am just stopping. I have had enough of the hectic pace for awhile. Well, I better get my show on the road. You have a good week, Edna and most of all Merry Christmas to you, Pogo, the kitties and your Dwarfs.

May be in a way a snowy Christmas would be nice, but it also causes trouble on the roads. So I think I vote for a non-white Christmas.
What an exciting box arrived, and Pogo thinks the same!
Oh, I bet you will have a wonderful Christmasday, unwrapping all the presents under the tree!
May be it would be nice if a dwarf would be in the house onm Christmas.
I don;t like the idea of you being all alone there and it makes Christmasdinner more cozy.
Anyway, have a wonderful day and glad Pogo is up to parr again.
Hugs
