We Don't Want To Leave!

March 15, 2014

Our last day here is simply gorgeous.  Warm and sunny with a gentle breeze continually wafting by.   It is simply perfection.   I have tried stuffing the weather here in my suitcase to bring it North with me, but it does not want to leave.  Ah well, I can't really blame it.  It is just lovely here.

The internet is still giving me all sorts of problems, so I will just post some photos of the beautiful flora here.  Some gorgeous hibiscus and an unknown (to me) plant.

Our suitcases are all packed except for last minute items, and we are just lounging about enjoying this last day here.   My "colorful thing" has grown almost large enough to fit on a twin size bed.  I'm just hoping it will fit into my suitcase.

Enough of my babble.  I'm going to publish this post while I still can.  So, till Monday, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh what gorgeous flowers and colors! I guess I don't blame the weather for not wanting to leave. There's no color up north yet, heck our baseball teams aren't even home yet!

Enjoy it to the very last and have a comfy and safe trip home.

Hugs, Nani

I can't believe it is time for you to come home already. That time just slipped away ... from me anyway. It seems like you were just leaving to go down to that beautiful place. I have been chasing my tail for days, trying to get caught up on things I couldn't do while I was taking care of the neigborhood cats. My FH took me out for dinner for my BD and we really pigged out. There was so much food that we had enough left overs to have another delicious meal at home. Then, of course, there was the cake ... German Chocolate, yummmm! But before I even made it to my cake, my friend gave me a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting (Yummmm again) and when we went to the store to get the cake we bought two great big yummy chocolate-mint moon cakes (two great big soft yummy chocolate cookies stuffed with mint flavored buttercream frosting). I am so sugared, I feel like I have been buzzed with something far more powerful than sugar :) But, one day a year I can gorge myself on sweets ... then it is back to the diet (Boring!).

We are having some spring like weather ... it is only in the 40's but with all the birds singing and the snow melting it does seem like spring. The snow melt has been slow so far and (knock on wood) ther hasn't been any flooding Woo Hoo! Tomorrow my friend is taking me to the Chicago Theater to see a Celtic Dance Group (like River Dance ... remember River Dance?)then out to dinner ... guess I am not back on my diet yet. Anyway, I am sooooo looking forward to it and I will get some pictures, though I doubt that I can take pictures in the theater.

I have to run to the store now. I need to get my son's I-pass transponder renewed before he gets back from Thailand ... there's a story in that trip too that I will be sharing soon :) Have a safe trip home, Edna and Pogo ... see you next week.

Simply gorgeous those hisbiscus flowers!
Your vacation went so quickly, cannot believe you will have to go already.
In a way it is nice to come home again, but I guess you could have done easily with another week enjoying that beautiful weather LOL!
Well, have a wonderful last day and come home safely!
