Still Struggling With The Laptop

March 11,2014

We're enjoying another gorgeous morning here in sunny Florida.  I just love it!  I'm going to attempt to post a few photos.  If it doesn't work, I'll try again later.  I have a lot of blog reading to catch up on, but I've been staying off the laptop.  It gets frustrating with all the problems it seems to be having.

I do have another beautiful layout to share that Kyra sent to me.  This one features that gorgeous horse that I fell in love with.  The verse comes from that fun TV show, "Mr. Ed".   What a great acation page!  Thank you so much, Kyra.

As I mentioned before, Janet and I picked up new yarn. She is working with a pretty candy colored yarn, making granny squares that will later become a sweater.

I'm running into problems here with the PC, so that's it for today. Till next post, Y'all have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Brief is better than nothing ... at least we know you are still enjoying your wonderful vacation. Are you knitting or crocheting? You all should make a bunch of squares and make a Florida Vacation Blanky for Pogo ... sort of to remember your trip together by. Just a suggestion :)

We have had warm weather (in the 50's) for two days now. The snow is shrinking and so far, no flooding (hope I don't jinx myself with that statement). The bad news is that last night on the weather they said a new snow storm and cold weather was coming starting tonight and going through Wednesday ... here's the kicker, we are to expect anywhere from 4 to 17 inches! 4 to 17 inches ... are you kidding me?! I know if we get 17 or even anywhere close to that we will break the snow record for sure. I'm fine with not breaking the record. Izzi probably would love it, but I am not even telling her or she will cheer it on. Sometimes I think she has the power to cause it to happen as she has been so happy with this whole "darn" (put in whichever word works for you:) winter.

They put my daughter on another med to deal with the myalgia and she is a total mess. Very confused, dizzi, blurred vision. I have a call in to the doctor to get instructions on how to take her off of it ... needless to say. They tell you not to just stop it, but don't tell you what you can do. Always something ... moan!

My Switerland diet has fallen apart. People are bringing me things like candy, banana bread with chocolate chips, cookies and it isn't even my birthday until Friday. I have been gearing up to break the diet so I could have cake, but I will be fat again by the time it is time for cake ... Good grief. And then out to dinner two nights in a row ... at fancy restaurants that have oh so good food. What is a person to do? I am not going to worry about it until next Monday ... it will all be over by then and I can set my mind to diet mode again. Life certainly is not easy ... Hope you get your computer issues resolved so you can start sending more pictures. Stay well, Edna and love to Pogo :)

That horse is special for some reason. His coloring. He almost looks aged but I don't know if horses do that. He also reminds me of a donkey. I love donkeys. Mr. Ed was such a fun show. They should do a remake.....instead of all the shows on housewives and violence. Keep on having fun. We have had two days of 60's but tomorrow we will have snow and the temps back in the twenties......geez.

I'm going to have to get my knitting out again - seeing all that yarn makes me want to get busy again.

The laptop is telling you to get off the blog and enjoy the warmer climate, huh? :)

I’m so glad you are getting to share your vacation time with family. My friend and I were chatting today and we talked about kids and parents and the fact that you really know you did well when your adult children want to hang out with you, even go on vacation with you! When you have a kid-in-law whose relationship with you is the same as one of your kids, that speaks volumes about you!

Kyra is making you some beautiful pages! The Mr. Ed on is great!

That photo of Pogo in the car is so precious! The rain clouds over the sun are dramatically beautiful! Janet is going to have a beautiful sweater! I like the colors.

Don’t over stress about posting; enjoy your vacation! Not sure what New England is expecting this week, but we’re waiting for 6-8 inches of that “s-word” tomorrow. It’s been warm enough the past couple of days that we have big ole patches of grass and now…sigh, spring WILL come and stay, right? ENJOY the wonderful Florida air while you have it!

Hugs, Nani

Great to know that beside the internet problem, you are having a wonderful time!
And you are right to stay of that laptop as much as possible, so you will not get irritated by the bad behaviour of it LOL.
Just enjoy all that free time in the good company!
(nice to know that layout arrived)
