A Couple Of Spring Photos To Warm Us Up

January 24, 2014

Good afternoon.  This is another of  those cold days, so I stayed under the covers as long as I could get away with it.  Finally Pogo started barking at me that he was hungry.  However, as soon as I put his dish of food down, he promptly crawled back into his little bed.  Hmmm, such a picky little dog.

There's not much happening here today, so I'm not going to chat a lot.  I have to see if my car is unfrozen because later Joe and I will be going food shopping.  The lock on my car door freezes, and this weather has not had any spells warm enough for it to thaw out.

Yesterday afternoon, Janet came by and we were able to book our flights for Florida.  Wow, what a big jump in price for airfare.  Each ticket has gone up about $200.  Pogo's ticket is the only one that the price has remained the same as last year.

I have a couple of photos from last Spring to help warm up the day.  I took these when the swans' eggs were hatching.

Now I'm going to check the mail and see if my car door will open.  Till tomorrow, Y'all be warm and have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Stay warm and be safe. We just had the plumber here for the second time from frozen pipes. Yuck.

Wow, that’s a big price jump! Like Pogo’s, my ticket in the virtual suitcase has stayed the same too! Hehe I can’t wait to see a post you do in Florida with photos of warm things.

The close up of the swan is beautiful! And a family of part cygnets and part eggs is such a…I guess special photo. I don’t know exactly what word to give it, but it’s a photo that you can’t just take any day. I’m saying you have talent and luck with your photos! :)

Thanks for the breath of spring air!

Hugs, Nani

All things go up in price and it is not making a person very happy!
Still it must feel good to have ordered the tickets.
Hope you can get into your car later, very akward that it freezes!
Put on a warm jack and if necessary a hat and shawl if it is still so cold!
And then it will be so great coming home again after the shopping, and snuggling in into your fleece balnet LOL!
Take care and have a great day!
Hugs
Kyra

Great shot of the swans and their new little family. I think they jump the tickets way up when it gets really cold because they know people will pay whatever it takes to get outta Dodge.

How beautiful your pictures are! You are so talented. Even though the prices went up on your tickets, I know it will be worth it to enjoy that warm weather. It's just too COLD here in the northeast.

Hi, I just popped over to see how you were doing. I am on the fly again today. This is the last day of the Expo and I have to be there by ten (it's after eight now and I am running behind). You should get one of those lock defreezers ... they do work. Sounds like you are doing okay ... are you working tonight? And, what dates will you be in Florida ... coming up soon I hope. Tonight we start our three days of subzero weather ... possibilty of 50 to 60 below. Pretty scarey stuff ... Will keep in touch. You be well and safe ...
