Just A Little Post Today

December 27, 2913

Good afternoon.  This will just be a little post.  I slept late this morning, then got busy doing a few things around here.  When I get the energy burst, I have to use it.  lol.

Last night I spent some time reading my new digital art books, and later I am going to have some fun playing in Photoshop on my laptop.  Right now, I'm busy making meat sauce and pasta shells for my din din later on.

Well, it's been more than a week now, and Pogo still has not gone into his Santa Hat bed.  He just moves it around the living room from one spot to another.  I may end up giving it away to some other little dog.  We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

I have a cute lttle "Kitty Love" picture to share today.  (I got it from the web)  Baby animals are one of my weaknesses.  I learned long ago to stay out of pet shops.

Now I have to get back to the stove before my pasta ends up in a big sticky lump.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Give Pogo some more time, may be suddenly he will understand what his Santa hat is about LOL!
Know all what you mean about staying out of petshops or even animal rescue!
If not really looking fora new pet, I must not visit those places!
Last week or so I almost took home a probably stray cat with me!!
I knew that cat for a couple of years, and also knew where he belonged, but last time I met it, it was staying in front of a door and I though it was the usual one I knew. So I ranged the bell, somebody came looking and I asked if the cat was hers( I didn;t know that lady), She answered no, but also told me she asked around in the street, but nobody was owner of it. So I am not sure if's left behind or not.
I will pay attention as much as I can, and who knows what I will do, if I still see it around. I better shouldn;t take it home, I have no idea how Brodski will react on it!
But oh, my hear hurts for that sweet cat.
Well, we'll see what happens.
Looks to be a nice day outside, wo I will take a nisff of air, but then I think it will be another rather lazy day LOL!

LOL! My kids were cruising a local pet store Christmas Eve! They had hoped to bring all the pretty pets home with them. If only they had hit a big lotto! HaHaHa!
I saw the cutest Yorkie at a shelter on line. He was given up because his ears are imperfect! Oh how it broke my heart. But he was a lucky one, several of them were caged their entire lives. I think people who abuse animals should be caged and locked away without a care in the world. And I don;t mean three square meals a day either!!!! Our kitten is growing so quickly. He is a terrible dickens. He will jump you in the shower and lap the water and growl like a dog! I am not sure what the heck his angle is! The older cat Rose whips him on a daily basis. Yesterday, on my lunch break I swore the WWF was playing in my bedroom! She threw him across the room. She is older and does not wish to be hassled! He lies on the floor plotting his next attack! I am tired just watching their silliness! The dogs all walk together on the other side of the hall. They also plot their next move sending the smaller one (Bandit) to intice him and then they rough him up! It is funny because Smokey who weighs in at 75 lbs. is scared senseless by Rose the older cat. Stella, our rescue dog is oblivious to the antics of her two brothers Bandit (rat terrier) and Smokey (boxador). She craved human contact and loves to lounge on the bed! Pogo would love this bunch of crazy pets! He would watch them on the sidelines but I bet he would try to rule them as Roxanne did! The smaller they are the braver! HeeHee
Love your blog stories. Hugs, Anne
