A Visit With The Swan Family

June 6, 2013

Good morning.  It's another beautiful day here in my little part of the world.  Today, Pogo and I are definitely going to the park.  We have several days of rain on its way here, so we are going to take advantage of this gorgeous day.

Yesterday afternoon, Janet, Pogo and I went to visit the Swan family.  Oh my oh my, they are just beautiful!

Daddy Swan did not mind me getting close to take photos, but he did not want Pogo to get too close.  As soon as Pogo got near the waters edge, Daddy Swan came right after him.  Janet had to scoop up Pogo and get behind the fence.

It was really exciting to watch the swans, and Pogo had the most wonderful time.  There was just so much grass there that needed to be sniffed, blade by blade.  And, there were ducks and birds and new people to meet.  My little Pogo was in heaven!

When it was time to leave, Janet had to pick Pogo up and carry him.  He was having so much fun that he did not want to leave.  Just look at the excitement on his face in this photo of him and Janet.

We had another adventure yesterday, but we'll save that story for tomorrow.  Right now, it's time  to get dressed and finish the laundry so that we can go to the park.  Who knows what adventures await us there!  lol.  So till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Poor Pogo, chased off my Daddy Swan! He sure looks like he wants Janet to take him for more adventures, not home. LOL

The family photos of the Swans are fabulous!

Our sun id gone for now and it's gray and cloudy (again) but the sun will come back. Enjoy yours today!!

Hugs, Nani

Love the swan pics, but really adore the one of Pogo and Janet. Totally cute! He looks as happy as a pup can be. :)

The swans are stunning! What fun to see an entire family and hear how bravely the daddy swan was to take on such a ferocious beast like Pogo.
The only thing that would have made the photo of Janet and Pogo perfect would be if you could get her to hang her tongue out at the same angle as Pogo's :)
