"Goth n Gore" Begins Today

October 8, 2012

Good morning.  It's sunny and quite brisk this morning, but still very nice.  I took some photos on the way home from work this morning of the mist rising on the lake.  I'll have to share those tomorrow because I haven't looked at them yet.

In a little while, I'm going to head on over to Costco to pick up my prints.  Needless to say, I'm a little excited and hoping that they come out good.  Then I can get them mounted in time to enter them.

I do have a photo to share for Mandarin Orange Monday.   It's one of the sunset photos that I took that last night that Tootsie and I and two of the dwarfs went to the beach to take photos.  For MOM, I just added more orange to the sky coloring.

I'll share the original photo too, so that you can see the actual sky that we were looking at that night.  It's just beautiful!

This morning, Su and I have the first two parts of our new collab kit "Goth n GoreWe've tried to make this kit just a little bit different from all the other Halloween kits out there.   I hope you like it and can use it.  Here's my preview and your download link.

Your download link:

When you've finished downloading, hop on over to Su's website and pick up her Parts 1 & 2.  While you're there, don't forget to take a moment to say thank you.  It really is so appreciated.

Now I'm going to finish my coffee, play a bit more with Pogo, and then head out to Costco's.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna. Well, as usual you have entered an awesome MOM picture. Your orange blended right into the picture and I think you may have outdone Mother Nature this time. I downloaded your Goth & Gore ... thanks. Don't know how you do all of that work and then give it away. You are a generous person. I will swing over and get parts 1&2when I leave your blog.

I am excited for you that you are entering into competitions. When will you hear about your gorgeous pictures for this month? It has to be fun anticipating ... you should do well, your pictures are wonderful.

It is cool here too, though no rain. We still need the rain, but it isn't too bad when it isn't so hot. I hope we will get a nice Indian Summer soon, so I can finish digging up my tubors and storing them in the basement. I just hate to cut them down when they are still blooming. Well, you stay warm and have a nice day working on your pictures. Till tomorrow ...

Your Halloween kit looks to be fun!

I too am curious about your prints from Costco. Hope they turned out well.
It was early rise this morning, so now I am all alone (Jan left for work) and it is so nicely quiet here. But a bit later want to do a few things in the house.
Have a lovely day.!

You have done a wonderful job with the colour of the sunset. I like the addition of orange:)
And I hope you got rid of those fleas- it is annoying when our pets have to share everything!
Thanks for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)
