Just A Short Post

September 7, 2012

This will be a very short post.  I thought I would post this morning while the Mrs slept, but there was no internet connection, so no post.  It's hot and muggy today, but this morning was really nice.

I want to post my photo for Friday Photo Art.  I took this photo on July 18th, the day we visited the Boston Angel Pet Shelter.  As soon as we started to leave for home, the rains came.  At times, it was so heavy, it was hard to see in front of the car.  This first photo is what it looked like through the car's windshield.  It looks as if I have applied a texture to it, but that misty look is really heavy rain coming down.   I rather like it this way.

This second version of the same photo has been  fixed a bit in Photoshop to clear away some of the mist from the rain.  It's still a nice photo but I like the original best.

I'm home from work now, and Pogo is full of energy and wants to play.  Gosh, he just played with a ball for the first time.  The ball is half as big as him, and every now and then I roll it to him to see if he will learn to play, but usually he does nothing.  Just now, he tried twice to play with that ball.  Woo Hoo!!!

Okay, now I'm off to take Pogo out for a while.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Very nice rainy shots, Edna! I like the unretouched one better for the mood it projects, but I do like the clarity of the trees in the front on the retouched one. Both are nice though!

Still smiling at yesterday's photos of Pogo; that green hoodie is so sweet! He matches my Nook case...He'd probably fit in my Nook case! :)

Have a wonderful evening my friend!!

Hugs, Nani

There is something so mysterious yet inviting about mist. Beautifully captured Ida! Thank you for sharing with Photo Art Friday.

Very nice capture of the rain and mist. I agree the original shot is more "mysterious" looking.
