Happy Landing

September 8, 2012

It's an another awesome morning, even though it's a bit too muggy for me.  The sun is shining and there's a beautiful breeze.  Ah, that breeze feels fantastic!  The air was sticky all night, so sleep was slow in coming.  Pogo and I finally went to the kitchen and got us a bowl of corn flakes.  Maybe a full tummy would help us to sleep.  And it worked.

I have to get a bit more organized.  It's time to make an appointment for an eye exam, and I still have to contact the Motor Vehicle Registry and get that mess straightened out.  I did call them the other day, but they left me on hold for almost half an hour so I hung up the phone.  This will have to be done at the registry office.

I have some "happy landing" photos to share this morning.  One of the things I love to do at the park is try to photograph the ducks and geese in flight and landing in the water.

Last night, I worked on more photo art, but I'm saving that for the appropriate days.  It's nice to get a little ahead with some of my projects.  Now I just need to give myself a boot and get started on next year's calendar.  It's the getting started that takes so long.  Once I start, I'm usually alright.

Now I want to rustle up some brunch.  I haven't had scrambled eggs and green peppers for a while, so I'm thinking I might make that.  Mmmmmm!  Yummy!  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I love the "in flight" or anyway landing shots of the ducks. Amazing catch!

I just finished my 10 dozen cookies baking and packing for the bake sale tomorrow and I'm tuckered out! Gonna go take a rest now.
