A Few Changes Here

August 3, 2012

Good morning.  At the moment, it's quite nice outside, but later this morning the wicked sticky heat will be back (mid 90's).  I'm hoping that the Mrs will let me run the air conditioner once it gets warmer.  There are days when she would rather sit and float in sweat rather than let us run the AC.

Today I am missing Pogo.  He's at home with a babysitter.  Mrs says he can't come to work anymore.  Boo Hoo.  I suppose though that it's good to get him used to the sitter.  Yesterday, Dee Dee brought her little dog Sassy over to play with Pogo.  Well, this is a project that will take a few more tries.  Sassy was willing to play nice, but Pogo was acting quite macho.   He only had one thing on his mind, and Sassy wasn't having any of that.

I had a message from Mediafire last night, that there was a problem with two of the parts of one our collab kits (Visions Of Sugar Plums), and they shut off these two parts.  I was not aware of any problems before this, but I went in to Mediafire and deleted the whole kit.  I will also be going through my blog and expiring anything that is more than two months old.   If someone new wants some of the older kits, they can email me and I will send them the links.

This week has been busy, and I've gotten behind on my photo challenges.  Hopefully, by Saturday, I'll be back on schedule.  I do have some photos to share today that I took recently at the park.  I met a little boy and girl while I was taking these photos, and they were getting worried for me that I might get stung by one of the bees.  I thought that was really sort of cute.

Sometime today, I want to figure out to put email on this little laptop that I carry with me to work.  I don't know how to pick up my regular email on it, but maybe I can get the gmail on it.  When I am gone all day with no access to any email, I feel as though something is missing.

Anyway, I'm at work now, and the Mrs will be waking soon and wanting her breakfast.   It's time for me to get busy here.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Great photos, not just the bees, but I love the thistle as well. Yes bees can be dangerous, I was carrying Reggie's EPI pen when we went out, he is so highly allergic to bee stings that he goes into shock.Always best to be careful.lol, had to laugh when you wrote Pgo had only one thing on his mind....typical male,hehehehe...

Wow, you really captured those thistles ... beautiful and beeutiful, if you get my gist. I am going to send some pictures of our little "Big Mac" a Yorky pup we used to babysit for. He wasn't as small as Pogo, but it is a good thing because his playmates were much bigger. Never had the "hump" problem with him ... makes you wonder! Maybe nothing small enough around to get to. Sorry about your heat ... we have been back in the 90's all week after a short respite last week (about three days of mid 80's). It actually felt cool which goes to show you that everything is relative. Have a great day with Pogo, Edna ...

The kids worrying about you and the bees was precious!

I did the "request an expired freebie" thing with my files too. Haven't gotten any requests, but I still see some of my old freebies move from time to time. Maybe I should put the email address next to the expired notes?

Have a wonderful day my friend!!

Hugs, Nani

I love the bee and thistle photo, what vibrant colors.
My husband is a lot like the Mrs in regards to the air conditioning. I've just resigned myself to it but he seems to forget that the one moving around and doing the cooking and cleaning (that would be ME) is the one that is sweaty and miserable.

Perhaps Pogo has to get used to other diggies around him. But I think he "defens"his homenow. Hmmmm, think it needs more time.
You can use g-mail and let come in mail from your other account.
