Who Invited Those Pounds Back?

July 11, 2012

There's still a few more minutes here to say "Good Morning".  I just could not make myself get up early enough this morning to post my blog before leaving to go do exercises with Deanne.  When I did crawl out of bed, there was just enough time to get dressed, grab some bottles of water and leave.  The good part is that today I managed about a mile and a quarter between the two machines.

What a shocker I got when I got weighed at the Doctor's office.  Whatever weight I had managed to lose, I put back on and then some.  This is not cool.  So for now, it's more water for me, and less iced coffee with cream and sugar.  Also, I think I need to cut back the evening snacks.  Maybe just two cookies and some light yogurt.

I'd like to share a layout that a reader has made from our June collab kit "Monkey See, Monkey Do".  Claudia's son and his class were celebrating their teacher's birthday with a circus theme, so this kit was just perfect for scrapping some memorable moments.   Claudia, your layout is just fabulous!

Do visit Claudia's blog to see some of her beautiful scrap layouts.  http://www.tristanvanschie.blogspot.com

I have another photo of a strange looking tree.  This is one of the three that I've run across in my travels.  Do you know the name of it?  If so, please me know.  Some of the green behind this tree is not part of the tree, but another tree further back.

I really don't have much news for today.  Methinks that I shall meander in to my bedroom and have a little nap.  Then I can finish the laundry that I started this morning.  Today is "strip the bed and wash all the sheets and blankets" day.  Ah,  so much fun!  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Claudia's layout is fantastic!

I think doctor's scales are all rigged to say you weigh more than you do so they can tell you to come back. :P That and you weigh-in with shoes on and all. And weight fluctuates during the day.

Yes, I'm on the more water, less chocolate penance right now!

David showed me a strange looking tree yesterday that was strange-looking because it was half poison ivy growing in it! He's doing an article on poison ivy and how to spot it. There are a few subdivisions with it right my the sidewalks. I'm sure no one recognized it.

Until you're sure what it is, photograph but don't touch the tree! :)

Hugs, Nani

Hmmmm, it may be a difference in scales yours and the doctors LOL.
Give me a few pounds, I can have them.
Oh, laundry is waiting for me too, but may be I skipp it to tomorrow. Did already some stuff, so I think I deserve a break.
Have a nice nap and wonderful rest of the day!

You may be developing muscle which weighs more than normal fat, so the pay off may still be in the future for you.

The tree looks like a weeping beech.
