Where'd The Music Go?

July 8, 2012

Good morning.  I've just got home from work, and it's already 80 degrees F.  It probably won't be quite as hot as yesterday though.  We're supposed to hit high 80's to 90 today.  Then tomorrow, the temps are supposed to go down another squish or two.

Folks, I've been working on restoring the music playing back on my blog.  I don't why Playlist doesn't play on the blog anymore, so I'm looking around to see if I can find a program that does.  If you know of one, please let me know.  It has to be one that has older music, rock n roll, country, pop, etc.   40's through 80's is my favorite but I do like others.

Friday at work I went outside to take a couple photos of the Mrs' pink coneflowers.  Here's one with a Bee Fly (I think).

I also got a few shots of another dragonfly.  I keep trying to photograph the big ones, but they seem to only land on branches that are quite high up.

Eddie was here yesterday when the thunder storms rolled by. We got close to 14 drops before it was over. After that, Eddie decided he should water my gardens. He gave everything a good drink and when he was done, the heavens opened up and dumped a minute or two of rain on us. Go figure!

Later, I went to exercise with Deanne.  I can only walk between half and three quarters of a mile on the treadmill so far, but every little bit helps.  Who knows?  If I get to like this, maybe one of these days I will get my own little treadmill so that I can use it everyday.  We'll see.

Tomorrow, Su and I will begin posting our new July collab kit "Summer Fun".  No hints, you'll have to wait unti tomorrow to see it.  Well, that's all the news for this morning.  I'll be leaving soon to pick up iced coffees to take to Deanne's.  Mmmmmmmm.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a beautiful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

It's almost always like that, when you have watered the garden soon after it rains LOL.
You are getting quite enthousiastic about your work-outs. As long as you have fun doing it, keep going!
Wait a bit with the treadmill, I'd say. It's a little investment and just do it for a few months and than decide if you should buy one for yourself.
Lovely picturesas, always.
Have a wonderful day.

I love the flower photos but the dragonfly is my favorite.

Good for you to keep at it. I really need to get out and walk around soon, I can feel the flab collecting as we speak.

It sounds like the cloud had a full bladder but couldn't go. Then Eddie "turned on the faucet" and it couldn't help itsellf! ;)
