Gosh Almighty, More Blog Changes!

July 16 2012

Good morning.  I hope your morning is a gong a lot better than mine is at the moment.  It seems like  computer problems are on a lot of folks' agendas lately.  My laptop is having a nervous breakdown, it's mouse does not behave anymore, and I'm getting exasperated with it.

Last night, I took my baby laptop to work so that I could work on some projects.  I am so thankful to have this little machine.  My big PC tells me that it's Norton has expired.  So, in a little while, I shall go shopping at Staples to get a new internet security package.  I suppose if things did not keep happening I would have nothing to complain about.

Blogger has been busy again.  It took me ten minutes to figure out how to find where to post my blog this morning.   As I'm typing here, the window is not big enough to show all the words so I have to keep sliding it back and forth to check for spelling, etc.  I have no idea what this will look once I'm finished.  I almost figure things out, then Wham!  Changed again.  It certainly does keep me on my toes.

Blogger also has a popup that says " We want to find your location on the map."  I did not read any more of it, I just clicked it off.  Why do they have to show where I am?  Next, they'll be wanting my phone number!

Folks, today Su and I are supposed to be posting our Parts 3 & 4 of our collab kit but we have had a few problems.  One being that Su's laptop got wiped out by lightning.  It's in the process of being fixed and she tells me that she should be back on line by tomorrow.  So, I will wait and post tomorrow too.    I am so sorry for the inconvenience, but I would like to wait so that we can post on the same day.  Thank you for being patient.

I do have a couple new photos of a dragonfly that I took Friday at work.   This little critter is getting ready to have himself a nice meal.

Now I think I will make a cup of coffee and put in a call to the doctor's office.  If he has no opening today, I guess I will have to go the ER.  Such a pleasant thought!

Update on puppy search!  I am going to check out a couple of little ones tomorrow.  My daughter in law went looking yesterday, and found a shelter that has a few small dogs for adoption.  One of the puppies is five month old teeny Chihuahua that is handicapped.  It sounds perfect for me!

On that note, I shall take my leave.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Good Morning Edna. It seems although blogger made it difficult, your post came out fine. I am with you when it comes to frustration with all of the little pop ups and changes in the process. I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I didn't know your were looking for a puppy ... I must miss out on a lot if I miss one day on the computer. Choose carefully, for they will be with you for a long time. I find my "active" dog to be good for me physically and mentally in terms of forcing me to think and exercise. But it is a very personal choice, so I wish you the best in finding your new friend. Have a great day and I am glad you are going to see your doctor ... I will feel better for you if you can start reversing the effects of your bite. Be well ...

Miss Edna, Have your Dr. swab inside your nose and test for MRSA. My son had a yr. long mess that started out with a spider bite. It turned out to be the staph infection that got into the bite, (from him scratching the itch). They kept treating, lancing, treating until finally testing, and- wa-la- IV antibiotics in the hospital for a week got rid of it for good.
So please take care!

hi Edna, definitely better go and see a Doc regarding the bite.I read up on it before I came across and some of the stuff made me shiver...ughh..Reggies area has 2 spiders who can cause problems, Black Widow and Brown Recluse. Hope it will be better soon. Oh and technical difficulties are to be expected-it's Mercury retrograde and that has the habbit of causing some havoc, lol

Edna, I'd say definitely take the anonymous advice and get that swab test. It can't hurt to start with the big stuff and be sure. (I now my heart's in good shape and I don't have a brain tumor because that's how they tested me for my ailment.)

I hope you're rid of your troubles with it SOON!

I'm glad it was just Su's laptop that got zapped. I was reading about a lighting strike yesterday that zapped people.

The little chihuahua does sound like possibly a good match for you! Good luck with the puppy search!

Hugs, Nani
take care

You are so diligent in your blog efforts. The little puppy sounds interesting and I'm sure who ever comes your way is one lucky dog.

I hate it too that Blogger keeps changing. Bahhh!
Abd often, when one thing is giving you trouble, then another thing follows hahaha. Oh whee, I know all about it.
Why don;t you try out AVG instead of Norton? I believe it's cheaper and ever so good. They have a free version( I use it and like it) but also an extended one to buy. Well, I suppose you are used to Norton, but why not check it out?
Every little dog is sweet, but to be true, I am ot too keen on chihuahuas. But it will be your dog and it´s your choice, of course!
Okay, hope there will be some good help with your bite, and hoping your legg gets well again.
