Parts 5 & 6 "Monkey See, Monkey Do"

June 25, 2012

Good morning.  It's only 5:30, and I'm waiting for the weatherman to give me an idea of what to expect for today.  At the moment, it is quite nice outside.  66 F degrees, clear sky, puffy white clouds.  Nice.    Ahhh, he just spoke, and says we can expect thunderstorms today and tomorrow.  I guess that's why the sun is not shining yet.  Oh well.

Today I want to share a photo I took Saturday night.  It was taken through the window, after the sun went down.  So, I used a flash to see what sort of photo I could get.  I think it's quite interesting.

Once the flash went off, this little guy flew off to the top of the beauty bush.  I attempted to take a photo through the screen door and ended up with this rather interesting, foggyish silhouette.  When he saw me in the doorway, he started to fly off again.

Today, Su and I will be posting Parts 5 & 6 of our collab kit "Monkey See, Monkey Do".    It reminds me that soon the local fair will be opening soon.  I'm going to try my hand at photographing fireworks there.

Here are your download links:

EXPIRED

When you have finished downloading, stop by Su's new blog and pick up her parts.  Don't forget to stop and say hello and thank you.  Here is Su's preview.

That's about all for this morning.  I'll be checking on the Mrs again shortly, and then packing up to go home.  So till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Thanx for the additional parts. Be happy you are getting some rain, we need some badly. It is starting off at 5:30 a.m. at 81 F already, to climb to 102+ for all this week. SUMMER has arrived full force for us now...LOL! Lovely photos of the hummingbird. Have a terrific week ahead. Hugs, Mat

I’m almost visiting recovered from vacation now! LOL

The circus kit if fun! You and Su do amazing work, Edna!

I loved the photos from the past couple weeks while drinking this morning’s coffee. The chipmunk photos are nice enough to have made into “Cat TV posters” for Kaline and Carla! LOL
I don’t think we have a new enough TV to have a button for the blind. How odd to stumble upon it by mistake! I bet not having that button hit drives a blind person as crazy as having it hit confuses us!
It may not be the female bird’s responsibility to attract the mate, but the female cardinal really is her own kind of beautiful. Loved those shots! It’s much more common to see photos of the males.
That first deer photo was the one I always dream I’ll get when we have a deer in our yard! But the urban deer are much more skittish and don’t stay long at all!

The black butterfly photo, and the butterfly, from June 18th were just stunning!

We had it really hot last week, relatively nice, mid to high 70s and 80s this weekend (okay and 70s isn’t shorts or even capris weather for me, but it keeps David from being cranky!) but it supposed to get really hot again this week/weekend.

OMG, the dragonfly photo is incredible!

Our next trip will be a long weekend and I won’t have the computer with me, but I’ll make an effort not to spend so much time between visits! I like having coffee with you every morning, Edna! But while it was a big cup, it was VERY good coffee today!

Hugs, Nani

Your circus kit is pretty wonderful. Kids will love to see themselves in layouts made from this kit!

Hi , I own a small store and looking for new designers if you are interested. There is no set-up fee, no mandatory collaborative kits, the split is 80/20% with designer getting 80% of her sales. It's a small group of really nice ladies. If you want to start selling here is a store to sell at. Or if you already sell at a store maybe you are looking for another store to sell at. The store is http://southerncomfortscraps.com If interested, contact Echo echohouman@gmail.com

This is a great set. I thank you and Sue!
For some reason, I can't get on Su's blog to get her part of the set.
Wonder if anyone else is having the same problem
Hugs,
Shirley
