The Man In The Moon Is Smiling

May 06, 2012

I must say that yesterday morning the sun was just wonderful after the fog had all burned away.  This morning is also gorgeous and sunny.  There are still some clouds in the sky because I cannot see the moon.  I was hoping to catch an early morning photo of it, but so far, no luck.

I tried my best last night to get another photo of our Super Moon, but I have to wait for it to get to a certain spot before I can get a photo without tree branches in my way.  The moon comes up from behind the trees across the street, and it has to travel upward and westward before I can get a decent shot at it.

Mrs told me to go across the street and take my photo from the other side of the trees, but I don't like to leave her alone.  Besides, it's very dark over there at night and there are lots of creepy noises behind those trees.  No thank you, I'll stay right here and wait for the moon to move a bit.  Here's my best shot from last night.  You can even see a star near the bottom of the photo.

As I took a few photos, I would show them to the Mrs.  She was waiting for a clear shot showing the man in the moon's face.  After about thirty photos and a couple of hours, I finally got a nice photo for her.  If you look really close, you can see that he is smiling.  (I know, I'm bad.  But it's such a tiny price to pay to keep the Mrs happy.)  (Thank you Graphics Fairy for the smile.)

This morning, Su and I are posting our Parts 1 & 2 of the new May collab kit, "Monet's Gardens".  This is a happy, Springy kit and the colors are just wonderful.  Thank you Su for the color pallette and theme.  Here's my preview.

And here is your download link:

EXPIRED

When you have finished downloading, hop on over to Su's new blog to pick up her Parts 1 & 2.  If her post is not up, just try again later.  Here is Su's preview.  These are fabulous!

Now it's time to check on the Mrs again, and then pack up to go home.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I love the smiling moon and even more that you would go to those lengths to make the Mrs smile. You're a sweet woman.

The Mrs. is a fortunate person to have you around watching her.
And taking all that trouble to bring a smile on her face.
You do have a kind heart, but I knew that already for a loooong time.!
You're right not go out at night in the dark at the other side of the street, better stay near the Mrs. LOL
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs
Kyra
