Indian Summer Seems To Be Here. Yeah!

October 5, 2011

Good morning.  The sun has been shining even though it's a bit cool yet.  Yesterday warmed up to a really nice day, so maybe today will too.  I really do hope that we still have lots of warm days left before ol' man Winter sets in.  Years ago, we used to call these nice days Indian Summer.

Yesterday I arrived at court only to find that had already started without me.  So now I wonder why they even needed me there in the first place.  Last night I went in to work only to have the Mrs tell me that she didn't want me there if I had a cold.  DUH!  I would love to have stayed home, but we don't always have enough people for coverage.  So be it.

Tootsie and I have just finished our early brunch.  I've been watching a bit of the shopping channel.  This morning they are having all sorts of wonderful things on sale.  Some up to 60% off.  I see a pair of deep rose jeans that I really like.  Hmmmm.  I love these clearance sales!

How about some birdie photos?  These are more from my photo walk at Plymouth Harbor.  As always, I love the gulls.  They have such wonderful personalities, and they are so willing to pose.

As Tootsie and I were walking along, we passed some granite posts with large chain links between them.  There were some darling little sparrows sitting on the chain just watching everyone.

Now I think I will head into the bedroom and try to catch a nap.  Later I am hoping to do a bit of food shopping and then hopefully get my new Photoshop installed.  So till tomorrow, stay well and have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Good luck with the photoshop. I've had some of my friends tell me I should invest in the full version instead of just Elements but it seems like so much money. Maybe while I'm taking my next class and have "student" status for any discounts available.

Hi Edna,

Those little sparrows are so real cute. Several years ago we had lots of them, here in town. But the last couple of years you hardly see any of them. I wonder why?
I've decided that I really should scrap some of my pictures, they are just piling up LOL. So I downloaded several page templates because I sometimes have trouble making the layout myself and also wanted to have a change of layout. Hmmmm, it works quite quick, but I have to get used to that too. On the other hand it's fun too.
So hoping to be able to show some results in a couple of days.
Have a lovely Indian Summer day!
Hugs
