Another Surprise In The Mail!

September 7, 2011

We have another gray morning here in New England.  But that's not a bad thing.  It's a great day to be out doing errands, so maybe I will this afternoon.  Autumn is definitely on it's way here.

I got a nice surprise in my mail this morning.  I had ordered Photoshop CS 5 Extended, and it arrived today.  Something tells me that between photo lessons, kit designing and learning CS 5 I am going to be just a tad bit busy for a while.  Add to that holiday shopping, tax preparation and bits of work on the house - PHEW!  I'm getting worn out just thinking!

Part of yesterday was spent going through a lot of my photos from all during the year.  I'm trying to decide which twelve will make it into my new calendar.  This takes a while because I'm my own worst critic.  So far, I 've settled on six photos.  Just six more to go!

Speaking of photos, I have a couple to share with you.  This first photo is my little girl enjoying a day at the park. I'm so glad I bought her stroller when I did.  It has been such a blessing, enabling Tootsie to get out a lot.  The second photo is the sedum in bloom.  There's been a lot of activity around these plants so I'll have to get outside with my camera soon.

Now it's time for me to get busy here.  Eddie will be coming by soon and it's almost time to make Tootsie's lunch.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a magnificent day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Edna, you’ll LOVE CS5! If you run in to any snags with it, drop me an email. I’m no expert by any means, but I have the books from school! Also the smaller book I had for class has some great shortcuts and ideas. :)

If I get time, I’m as taxed for it as you are, I think I might do some calendars this year, yeah, maybe even one for me. That would be different. I’m behind on my scrapbooks and it’s really the only thing I create for myself.

The photo of Tootsie in her stroller is precious! Is that one in the running for a calendar page?

I’ve got to grab lunch and get back to my school work. Have a wonderful day my friend and enjoy thinking fall and colors and let’s all try to block the thoughts of snow. Maybe if we ignore it, it’ll go away?

Hugs, Nani

Tootsie is looking adorable in her stroller!
Congratulations on your CS5. Is it so much different from the program you are using now, that you'll have to "study"a lot for using the new?
I am still very happy with my Photoshop Elements8, it was a good thing to buy that.
Have lots of great times with your CS5!
Hugs

Tootsie is adorable in her stroller. She looks likes she's saying "faster Mom, faster...I feel the need for speed".
