HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SCOTT & JANET

April 2, 2011

Good Morning.  It's early yet, but it's supposed to be sunny, a bit cloudy and in the 50's today.  I'm looking forward to this.  Tootsie and I have to go out this morning to get her updated Rabies shot.  The local Police Station is hosting the shots this morning, and using the proceeds to help the animal shelter.   I have never been in this Police Station, so it should be interesting.

I want to take a moment to say Happy Birthday to Scott and Janet.  Their birthdays were earlier this week, but due to sickness and work, they have decided to celebrate today.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY kids.  I hope your special day is grand.

Yesterday was opening day for the Red Sox.  Even though the final score was disappointing, it was a great game.  I'm sure they will do much better tonight.  Speaking of baseball, Jazzy is hoping to be asked to sing the national anthem for one of the Brockton Rox' games.  That is our local professional baseball team.  she has already been asked to sing for opening day (I believe) for Little League Baseball.  Such an exciting time for Jazzy.

I have some cute kitty photos to share this morning.  This is one of Scott and Janet's furry family.  What a beauty!

I want to thank Donna for sending me some very helpful information about the many changes that Blogger has been making here.  It helps to find my around here better.  Also, I am watching closely the severe weather warnings in the southern part of this country.  I have lots of friends and family living in the South, so I am quite concerned for their safety.

Now I think I'll do a bit of blog reading, enjoy a cup of coffee, and then get ready to go for Tootsie's shot.  I think she knows that something is up because she is pretending to be asleep.  Usually she gets excited about going out.  Ah well, maybe a Dairy Queen ice cream will make up for the shot.  Mmmmm.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh, Edna, I just love those kitty photos! Baggle sends a big thank you to you and Tootsie for the birthday wishes yesterday. Tootsie is a smart and intuitive girl to feign sleeping when shot-time is coming!

I hope tonight is better for the Red Sox too! After another Tigers loss to the Yankees, I need an AL smile!

I hope you and yours stay dry and not too stormy!

Hugs, Nani
