Yes Sirree! I Do Feel Good Today!!

December 7, 2009

It's Monday morning, and I feel good. That's because I can stay home now for four days in a row before it's time to go back to work. It's a good thing too because I still have wrapping and cards to finish up. I was so ahead of myself so how come I'm so far behind myself now? Some days you just can't win!!

These past two days, I did manage to finish up the color challenge. It's a pretty kit that I call "Hanukkah Joy." It started out to be a mini kit, but somehow ended up a full sized kit with 12 Background Papers and 22 elements. Want a sneak peek?

This week I will also finish up my portion of the January DD kit, and one or two more challenges. (At least I'm going to give it a good try!!) I also want to go shopping and get me a little tree for my living room. We always put up a tree in the den in the main part of the house, but it doesn't do much to make my apartment look very Christmasy. Moo got me a tree, but it was a six footer, and that is just too big for my little living room. I think I can only go up to about four feet tall for the space that I have.

This morning I did manage to get some more snow pictures to share. Have you ever seen a mist rising up from a field of snow? I went outside about 6:20 a.m., and took a few photos. This first photo shows the mist rising in the field across the street from my work.
*
While I was taking photos of the mist, I looked up behind me and YUP! You guessed it! There was that gorgeous moon again just waiting for me to take it's picture again. So here is this morning's beautiful moon.
*
You let me know when you get tired of looking at the moon! When I was on my way home, I had to stop at a stop sign and right in front of me across the street, was a group of lacy, snowy trees. So of course I had to get a photo of that too!
*
There were many more fantastic photo opportunities on my way home, but when you are in traffic, it is a bit difficult to get people to stop driving and getting in your way. So I had to forego a lot of really nice photos.
*
Now I think I must get going here, and start my morning blog hopping. Hopefully, this afternoon, I can watch my new movie "My Sister's Keeper." Y'all have a most wonderful day now.

Hugs, Edna B.

I love that lacey tree!

We got our first snow overnight. It wasn't a lot, less than a quarter inch, but it iced up the roads a bit. Now I'm getting ready to do the grocery shopping I didn't do this morning to start my baking this evening wile David is at work.

I relly enjoy your photos and your different moon-shots! You takes some great photos
