I'm glad you like the new kit. Tonight, I will post the rest of the papers, and tomorrow you will get all the elements. Then, I really have to get cracking on the Thanksgiving kit that I am working on for you.
That's all for tonight. I have homework to read through, and 5:30 am comes early. Tomorrow is a working day. Have a great night.
Hugs, Edna B.

Today hasn't been going very well so far. As soon as I started driving home from work this morning, I noticed that my car wasn't acting right. It was struggling to keep running. Oh Oh!
Just what I need. Tootsie has chemo this morning, and she has a big lump under her jaw on her neck that needs to be looked at pronto.
My car died out several times on the ride home, but I couldn't take it to the mechanic until after we got back from the hospital. Well, it kept cutting out on the way to the hospital, but we did get there in one piece.
Now for the good and bad news. My little girl could not have chemo because of the huge lump. So her chemo was pushed up to every 6 weeks. This part is good news, we hope. She had to see her regular doctor to have the lump checked. The good news here is that after some tests, he's pretty sure it's a huge abcess. On top of all this, Tootsie is running a fever. The bad news is that my little girl has to stay and have surgery. I've never left her before, and I'm not dealing with it very well.
I went straight to the repair garage from the hospital, with my car dying out at every traffic light and slow down corner. Of course, I had to leave the car there. What else is new! Thank goodness for my brother. He had to come and pick me up. Now I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for a call from the hospital saying that I can pick up my little Tootsie. If needed, a friend will drive me there, because Uncle Moo has to wait for the burner repair man.
I guess I forgot to mention that little tidbit. Yesterday, we all felt chilly and checked to see if the burner was turned on. It was, but it wasn't running. So, no heat yesterday and today. With a little luck, it will be warmer later this evening.
On top of all this, I really need a nap, but I'm too anxious to sleep, so consequently, I don't have any pretty pictures or layouts to share today. Maybe later, if not, tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent my pent up nerves. I just need some good news this afternoon from Tootsie's doctor, and I'll be just fine.
Hugs, Edna B.

I don't think I've ever posted this early in the morning. But I got up early to share with you a nice surprise that a couple of really nice friends and I have put together for you.
Today is a special day. It's Veterans Day here, a day to remember, and to honor, our military veterans. So I got together with Snow Raven and Kyra, and we made a little blog train for you with beautiful kits for scrapping your treasured photos. Each kit has our own country's flavor, England, Holland and The United States of America.

Today I wondered why no one wanted the new QP. I was about to take the link down so as not to offend anyone, when I realized that I had never put the link up in the first place. DUH!!!
So, if you would like the QP "You've Come A Long Way," (scroll down a couple of days) here is the download link:
It's a good thing my head is attached good and tight, because I would lost it most every day. I seem to have more scatterbrain days now than I ever did. Is this a part of those glowing golden years? Does anyone know why our later years are called the golden years? I'm still looking for the gold. So far, I have found mounds of wrinkles, scads of grey hairs, lumps of plump that I never used to have, blood pressure pills, water retention pills and a lot less energy.
In all fairness, I have to say that the good part is waking up every morning still breathing, being able to walk on my own two feet, there are birds chirping outside my window, and I have a job. I am blessed.
Today I'm posting early because I have errands to do, and when I get done, there is my homework. Also, I have to go on line and find a doggie gate to put across the living room entryway. I have some layouts to finish for kits and challenges too. One layout will feature a few of my dolls. Here's one picture showing my very first doll, Little Red Riding Hood. Enjoy, I'm off to do some errands.
Hugs, Edna B.

I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable time last night. Toostie and I were popsicles when we got home from our ride, but it was wonderful. Did any of you notice any of the riders in the sky while you were out last night?
Today will be short. I have quite a few things that need to be done, but I wanted to share with you the award that Davonna at http://chroniclesofnani.blogspot.com/ has bestowed on me. I feel so honored that I have been able to brighten up someone's day with my blog. It gives me such a huge incentive to keep creating nice things for you. Thank you so much, Davonna.
If you haven't been to Davonna's blog, give yourself a treat and visit soon. She tells the grandest stories, and will have you coming back every day for more.
The rules for this award are simple. I need to tell you seven things that I love, and then pass the award on to seven other folks.
I love my family, top of my list.
I love my Tootsie. (and all animals for that matter)
I love Nature, and feel very close to it.
I love my God
I am Very patriotic, and love my country and my flag.
I love listening to the birds chirping and singing.
I love learning new things.
Here are the names I have chosen to pass this award on to. I visit their blogs everyday, and not just for freebies. I love the friendly chatter and stories, the sharing of their everyday lives, as well as the fantastic creativity they share.
